If i've miss any Next-Gen Gwent Overhaul that would recquiert a special version, feel free to post a link under this comments section.
Just don't ask about Gwent Reformed (4.04). Despite the "Next-Gen Update Compatible" tag, it is not : all next-gen change haven't been port, some card's definitions are missing. In some instance, that make you missed Geralt and Ciri's cards, and that can also cause a bug and empty your deck. Making a dedicated version take a lot of time, especially because i made sure that each deck allow you to complete your Gwent collection. So i won't make one for this mod, unless it's updated and fixed.
Hey. I have a mod installed to track cards in Gwent. When I update your mod, remove the DLC and make a new save my card tracking resets. I need the update to be able to play Hattori in Gwent. Is there a way to fix this?
Hi, as i explain in the changelog, this update process on an ongoing save as a side effect : "But be aware that doing it can "reset" the tracking of some cards." I've found a way to avoid that, but it'll be only usable if you've started the game with the 4.0 version. So for your case no way to fix it. I suggest to use your previous save (before removing the DLC) and avoid Hattori until your next playthrough.
npc doesnt even sell cards (i use gwent redux and downloaded patch 4.0 which prioritizes this mod). when i delete this mod they go back to normal and npc sells cards again
edit: i'm using this mod at newgame, it still lets you choose deck and play vs professor, but then all new npc's don't sell cards and when starting the match it loads infinitely (gwent redux).
Something is off with your install : Gwent Deck Choice doesn't remove anything from NPC shop list, it only add a few cards to some Velen merchant. NPC shop at the prologue isn't changed in any way. So my advice would be to keep only Gwent Deck Choice + Gwent Redux, then add your other mod one by one. Again, a fresh new game is recommended after updating. Not doing so can result in this loading screen issue. The only other explanation if you really have done one is because one of your mod changes Elza tag. Which you can debug by again removing all other mods and add them one by one.
thanks bro, i will review my mods @@ even though i only have 2 mods gwent redux and mod fix draw 2 cards for spy redux, maybe some mod is conflicting, thanks a lot bro.
I'm creating a new mod list for a fresh playthrough and I have the mods Gwent Redux, The Two Gwent Stores-Gwent Redux Edition & Time of Sword and Axe. How would I go about making this work together with your mod?
First, Time of Sword and Axe's author explained in his modpage that it can't be used with others Gwent overhaul like Gwent Redux. You'll have to choose one or the other. Then for the two Gwent store mod you're talking about, I'm not sure which one it is. But mine doesn't directly edit the vanilla shop list, all my card addition are done by a dlc file = no conflict, work with other mod that edit shop list too. Finally and it's worth for every mod, you can check yourself with script merger if your mod list have conflict. If it doesn't, then the mod you installed will work together without any issue.
Thank you for your reply. I read on his mod page before my question her, GR priority over ToSaA would work, I failed to ask you correctly if yours needed priority over all.
"Would" I personally won't take the chance to break anything but If you do what you describe, or just install Gwent Redux alone, then you'll need to install the Gwent Deck Choice - Gwent Redux dedicated version and to make sure it has priority over Gwent Redux. It should already be the case by default but it's still better to check that anyways just in case.
Hi, I assume you didn't read the changelog : their was an important step to do before updating on an ongoing save to avoid that infinite loading. Remove the dlc, launch the game and make a save. Then install the dlc again and you should be good to play with them.
Hi, I'm having some strange behavior related to cards available in shops:
Some cards that are supposed to be single items, and that I already own, are available to be bought (in example, for NR deck, "Prince Stennis" was sold by Baron Quartermaster even it is included in the starting deck. I choose to start with NR deck).
Then the tooltip for cards in shops always seem to indicate that I own the card, even if I don't.
Hi, The first issue is a "well known" issue with gwent : once you install and play with one gwent overhaul, you should not uninstall during your playthrough, unless you start a fresh new game. If you do, card in shop will be reset like you describe. I saw you download the normal & gwent redux version, so i'm assuming it's what happen. Their is no real solution to fix that, so either give you some money to compensate and buy them again or start a new game (i know it's not ideal, but your current save might have others issues you didn't notice yet. So starting a new play is the better option in the long run imo).
The second issue is a vanilla limitation i'm aware of but couldn't fix, yet. While the Gwent Almanac dynamicly update depending on wich deck you choose, tooltip for cards is another story : getting a card, then removing it doesn't reset the tooltip and give that missleading "You already own this" even if you don't. It doesn't affect the max cards you can really buy however : for exemple decoy, max card = 3. If you start with the Nilfgaard Deck, then change your mind, you'll notice the bug with the Decoy card saying you already get it. Despite that tooltip you can still buy 3 decoy to Erza, as it is intended by the Decoy's max card. This issue should be noticeable only when you use the option to swap deck.
Weird, something is really off then. It's not a normal behavior and i didn't get this issue in all my gameplay testing, so i really doubt that your first issue is caused by Gwent Deck Choice directly. Even updating the mod during on an ongoing playthrough was safe in my testing and doesn't cause this. May be your save game get bugged somehow. I still recommand a new game in that case, if you're not to advance. Again, not the ideal solution but definitly the cleanest way to avoid any further issue with your current playthrough.
I'm not that far in the game, but I'll consider if restarting. I was not really keen on doing this, but nothing too bad I guess.
I think I will keep everything vanilla about Gwent, in the end also after having installed this mod I went with NR deck. I prefer to stick to it than having the tooltip issue.
Again to resume and clarify : the tooltip issue arise only when switching to another deck after the first choice. So you can still pick any of the four without encoutering this issue. Of course if NR is your favorite, enjoy it : )
Yes, but on the other hand, now that I played a bit, I think that I will take the chance to slim down a bit my mod list (I have several other mods that on paper I consider "must-have" but in the end, I don't really use, like Hoods, and some more).
Sticking to what I really use, less code = less compatibility issues and less problems.
Again, this is not a critique to your work, I think that your mods are amazing!
Yes and no. After your first play, you'll have an option to choose another faction IF you want to. But if you don't want to, nothing force you to choose this dialogue option. And if that something you like, you can have another gwent match with Aldert with the faction you choose the very first time.

J'ai vu le changelog mais je ne suis pas plus avancé que ça mdr
Edit : same with Armorer of Hierarch Square (Novigrad)

I downloaded both versions, but in the current playthrough I'm not using Gwent overhaul mods, it's just vanilla plus your mod.

Thank you anyway for your mods and your support!
