Edit: Solved! Original post: I get no error after merging but when starting the game:
I play with 170 mods so maybe there is a conflict somewhere, but it's definetly this one causing it. This is just a tiny quality of life mod that i only got because it was listed as a requirement for Buff Charges and of course i'll just uninstall it and don't mind it at all but it caused me quite some headache while merging all my mods :P and i thought it might be helpfull to someone if i report it. :)
Oh wow, after so much time it turns out to be so simple! I didn't even consider this, because the tag says next-gen compatible and there is nothing in the description nor are there two seperate files in the downloads. So i just integrated it into the Mod Manager without concern, but i guess i shoud always look into the files first. It works perfectly now, no manual conflicts either, thanks for the hint and the mod! ;)
Just remember for the future - very few script mods can be used in both versions of the game without adaptation. So if it is stated that a script mod is compatible with both versions of the game, in 99% of cases this means two versions of the mod.
Oh, I'm using the old gen version of this mod. This makes more sense, especially in relation to weapons/armor... although, I believe, according to local lore, magical power is also drawn from Places of Power and consumed when used. In any case, it is very convenient. My mod is even more useful with this than with temporary effects.
Glad you found it useful! And yes, it should be easily compatible with almost everything. I'm going to post another mod that makes it possible not to clear positive effects during quests when this is done forcibly.
