I missed this one, but what a great mod. I've messed around with some of the other boat speed configs on the site but ultimately uninstalled them because they break the (gear system) speed transitions. Essentially, if you sprinted from a stationary or slow speed it would just jolt the boat forward unrealistically into sprint mode. This mod doesn't have that issue though since it's editing through the vanilla value. The boat naturally progresses from a slow speed into a faster sprint.
I think I may adjust the max speed down to 10 though so it's a mere 25% increase. I want more speed for the skellige ?s but 50% kinda feels like Geralt has an engine strapped somewhere under the hull lol. Regardless, thanks for the mod and classic support. Your quick cast mod is a banger. One of the best on the site.
Is it possible to a an ingame menu with a multiplier, so that it can get changed anytime and is only faster when needed? Like for example setting it to 5x when looting skellige and back down to 1x when being near coasts and so on.
this mod affects only "sprinting", you can just not press shift (A) to go slower also there is 10 menu limit in the game, small mods should not take up menu space
I see. But 2x speed when needed would also cut travel time in half. And about menus, I have currently 12 mods with menus installed and all work fine. Just the list is a but bugged when scrolling, which is a bit anoying and could limit it to 20 mod menus since the bug adds up with each aditional scroll. But that also happens with vanilla menu entires.

to answer the question: probably possible

this is done automatically when using TW3MM
Gave me a chuckle lol.
Very convenient mod btw! Now I can sail Skellige's POIs without dreading it too much.
