Hey man, just found out about your mod recently, especially gloves on 1.2 are fire! I would like to contact you and speak about the idea of improving flaming rose armor, because let me tell you something you got it right!
And... I had some ideas for improving this armor, like removing the elbow guards and making the arm plating more like in W1, but I'm just too lazy and busy doing absolutely nothing at college right now, so I didn’t do it bruh
I made a mod myself, removed the belt and the wolf medallion, works perfectly combined with both 1.1 and 1.2, when I removed the elbow guards I modified the armor meshes, that resulted in mod manger that the original textures to be combined with the chainmail textures in 1.2, by 1.1 I don't face this problem but then the elbowguards are not dissappearing, here is a photo of what happens when I combine any mod that removes elbowguards and 1.2;
I added two more mods one named vikings and knights that adds this "helmet" piece, which adds shouldpads and elbowguards and a nice little fur but it's still not perfect and I added hoods mod, in this case using feline hood closed;
If we can do something closer to the knight look it would be fire;
By "making the arm plating more like in W1", I meant exactly the red arm plate armor, just like in the screenshots you provided. I even started modeling this once but never finished.
Very nice mod, hopefully someone can help you with the mesh problem. Have you tried asking for help from other more experienced modders? Discord is a good place for that.
It have some issue with left arm elbowguard ?shadow mapping? or something, idk why but in new dev tools for witcher 3 always when I touch a mesh file even without changing anything, metal armor on left arm has this problem - it appears on any armor.(fixed in 1.2)
