I consider a waste of time to try to improve these ugly armors, they should have not existed in the first place in game. Witcher 2 had some High quality outfits in game, W3 had so few high quality outfits, only the witcher school outfits were good.
Much better than the original. But a bit too black in my opinion. Almost looks like velvet, and we all know that Gerry wouldn't wear velvet on the path (looking like a git) ;).
Do you suppose the original colors were to visually demonstrate that this is "filler gear" until you get the Good Stuff later? Like it's "garishly clown-colored" as an indication of it being early gear. Otherwise I suppose the lore reason for the colors is it's patched/repaired armor. It's such a weird style. The black sleeves look way more natural!
