I managed to figure out how to play test edited quests in the red kit 2 editor which makes things much easier. I will spend the next few days figuring out more details then probably start making another mod.

I did actually see your mod but the comments there are locked so I was unable to post. Either way good job! I never tried editing the terrain on such a large scale yet I do see that you managed to edit everything properly. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I might have an answer or two lying around :D

Oh and I also noticed you had problems with file verification. I always wait for nexus to send the files thru virus total before making the mod public. Usually takes them like 5 minutes which I use to double check the mod page for any possible errors I probably made lmao. Good luck on your modding journey!

Yes, but it was all thanks to you and your instructions.
yes i had some (a lot) of issues uploading proboly bc i did not wait and kep realoading not realizing that it was gonna take some time for the file to be verified.

im gonna fixa the "locked comment" problem. (could have sworn i did enable that).

Edit: An answer, and  2 lies ehehe works for me.
Question: Do you think its possible to add fog/cloud or volumetric clouds to certain areas/places?

Yeah. Lighting mods made years ago did that stuff so it is definitively possible especially with the red kit 2. Though I should probably warn you that you will need to edit .env files and in Wolvenkit they were just a wall of text with many parameters, no idea if the red kit 2 gives you a more GUI friendly approach to editing them. Also you will need to edit dozens of them because the game switches between them often. A distance of 50 meters can make the game switch .env files multiple times. I never actually edited the weather in Witcher 3 so I do not have much other information.

At first I thought about just recreating your mod with the 'Next Gen' files yet wanted to see what I could come up with using the red kit 2. With that being said you made a good mod considering we had to make due with improvised tools back then. Shame both of us could not change the localization files haha.

I wanted to do more with the quest but got cock blocked by the editor btw. I managed to find out some more stuff today but the red kit 2 documentation is still laughably bad hence I am walking uphill so to speak. I plan on making more stuff once I learn more about the editor.

Thanks! I had some stuff to do but for the most part I just got lazy. I plan on releasing a few more mods in the next few weeks and some of them will not be published on nexus because we know how that went.

      eheh how unfortunatly true.

let me ask ya something. have you manged to learn anything about how to import Snow-tiles. Because im in the proccess of modding trees in Novigra-level (Novigrad/Velen). Under "TOOL: Terrain Edit Tools" i find everything except snow (both version), how da h-ell do i add/import snow tiles? is it possible to import from skellige or Kear Morhen levels? is yes, then how?

Yeah I did figure that out. When you are in the material tab at the top you should see levels\novigrad\terrain_material.w2mg which you can change to levels\skellige\skellige_terrain_material.w2mg by going into the asset browser then following that files directory and copying said directory into your clipboard using the right mouse button context menu. Then you just click the small green arrow to the right of the directory box back in the materials tab. I mean yeah I did just write the directories so you can just copy them instead but if you want to import textures from other levels you will have to f*#@ around in the asset browser manually. Good luck!

      Hi Loizzi,

I was one of those who support you with that mod banned by Big Brother... May I ask where you will be releasing your new mods? You can send me a PM if you feel more confortable, but I would like to see what you are going to release, mate.

      Many thanks in advance!

Welcome back Deepk. I plan on publishing my mods on [Blocked URL: Known disreputable website] at https://rpghq.org/forums/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2915-lolzzl

For now I plan on making smaller tweaks. A major issue I am facing is the fact the game supports like 10 languages and I speak 3 at best hence if I made, say, AI dialogue or custom text the localization would be broken in other languages which heavily limits what I can do. That aside I am still waiting for more red kit 2 documentation to come out and future updates to the tools because even now some of them lack usability and quality. Basically I can remove DEI elements (because of the way the game is set up that is by far the easiest option) but changing them can be far more tiresome. I plan on changing base game stuff first then probably Toussaint. Hearts of Stone includes so much dialogue in contrast to gameplay that changing anything would require a decent amount of effort and a lot of time that could be spent on more useful things.

Btw I used your icon mods back when I played around with W3EE - Redux, thanks for making them. It's funny to think that soon I will have free 'lifetime' premium like you on a website that tends to be so hostile to anything that opposes [current thing] and the status quo.

      Kevin843

2 of the 'controversial' mods I made got removed by nexus. The mod pages have been delisted yet the files are still in 'circulation'

I could elaborate on how the mods got removed on a whim on baseless charges yet I already did so before and nexus just removes most of my posts. If you want to look them up visit https://modhq.org/Witcher%203%3A%20The%20Wild%20Hunt however the site requires registration to download files.
