    I suppose CDPR wanted to give the impression based on real life swimming, where usually you get underwater vision only if you dive into it. That would explain the limitation they put on purpose.

    Although, we play the game in a third-person. So the mod itself justify too.

      Yes, I think you're right. It's just that other third-person games don't have that. Vanilla camera in water very confusing and anoying to me.

      Any feature made for immersion or realism that ends up annoying the user and/or being an inconvenience not only fails at its purpose, put also does the opposite.
