Sure, but why would you make it more convenient but only for the loot? The vanilla way of interacting with things is still there so you could always wait for the prompt to appear before pressing.
In that way, we can hold the "loot" action without being interrupted by NPC talking. It just happens the scene dialogue trigger when I was looting around NPC. I can't imagine the same when ignite candle or torch.
