Hi! Great mod, I love it and it is an integral part of my every game, but I have a small question. Should the hair be transparent in this area? It spoils my immersion a bit

    A little question people.
I really do like this mod, but in version 4.03/4.04 hairworks in general appears to be very unstable.

Do you people have any suggestion or fixes to have a stable game while running hairworks?
I just don't want to disable this mod.

When you are at the barber, and select the full beard trimmed short.
What stage of full beard did you get?

Maybe someone can help me I have tried everything to get this mod to work I've manually installed tried vortex the script merger doesn't have any problems but when I load the game the beard is unchanged and the hair is low textured

EDIT SOLVED- Finally after about a day of testing I discovered I didn't actually have Hairworks on in the actual game settings once the setting was enabled the mod works as intended

I'm trying to only use the beard mod in combination with disable the hairworks for hair but keeping the beard. This is all I get.

Where to download the same face mod. If this is your development, when will you release a face mod?

Not sure about the textures, but the head mesh is my Blaviken Mesh, which you can get here: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/7420?tab=files

Hello. Sorry for trouble I know there's general bug about hairworks beard but still I wanna ask if you can fix: when weather turned rainy Geralt's beard also turning to blackish/greyish so if you can fix this issue it would be awesome. You can see this issue in my video (just look at the 13:25 minutes on video please you will see)

That's because vanilla textures are inherently patchy and not uniform in places. When the hair gets wet and darkens, the effect is more pronounced, even when using my adjusted vanilla desaturated textures.

This is why I recommend the uniform white or dark gray ones, which don't have this issue.

      Actually I was using H2O - White Textures - Author's Choice already.

Are you sure? Because I see he very distinct dark patches even when the beard isn't wet at the start ofthe video, which is a telltale sign of vanilla textures. Check if you don't have two of them running at the same time, or redownload the while color option and make sure it's highest in priority in the script merger over anything else. The problem should disappear.

So for some reason on the normal hairstyle, the bangs stay as vanilla hair, but the rest of it is the H2O hw hair. When I switch to a different hairstyle with bangs it's the actual H20 HW bangs instead of the vanilla ones. I uninstalled all my mods and dlcs which might affect it, but the same thing happened. I can provide pictures if you would like.

They're washed out because I use HDR, but you can still see the vanilla strands on the H2O HW as well as the other hairstyle being completely fine.

Very odd. Try removing the 3D eyebrows mod, see if it makes any difference.

Also redownload and reinstall the H2O, might be a corrupted file.

You could use xbox game bar on your Windows for taking 'true' HDR screenshots actually :)

Thank you akblt I’ll definitely be using that! Also I still have the same problem when I turned off 3d eyebrows as well as when I reinstalled H2O.

Are you positive there's nothing else that could possibly affect hairworks in your modlist?

I've downloaded the mod and ran a test, and it seems to work just fine.

I don’t know if it could have something to do with my DLC2. Other than that I’m 100% sure nothing else is conflicting with it.

Could be worth checking if disabling that fixes it. I'm positive it must be some sort of conflict somewhere.

It’s definitely a conflict I just don’t know where. If worst comes to worst I’ll just do a clean reinstall of the game and then redownload the mods I have installed. Thanks for trying to help though I appreciate it!

I suspect it might be DLC2 interfering somewhere. You might try renaming the H2O folder to mod_H2ONG and see if that fixes it. It should bump it up internally on the game's priority list.

Alright I’ll try that. Also do you have a clean DLC2 that I can download and see if that’ll help as well.

Alright so I did a clean reinstall of the game with no mods or dlcs besides H2O and I'm still getting the same problem. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.

I got it to work. I had to enable HW for all instead of just Geralt.

Weird that bangs wouldn't be affected on that particular hairstyle with Geralt-only HW enabled. But I'm glad you got it to work in the end.
