I noticed a strange glitch: the mod seems to mess with Ewald Borsodi's and Folan's (Hjalmar's archer from "The Lord of Undvik " quest) hairstyle, which is roughly the equivalent of Geralt's shaved ponytail.
With this mod installed, their hair looks as if composed of short and wide stripes; I can't post a screenshot now, but it's the same result one gets on Geralt when using a hairworks-requiring mod with hairworks disabled.
After some testing, I can say that the glitch is realted to the color file (all colors affected), and so is present even if one only uses the beard-only version of the mod (of course, the hair and beard version is also affected), as long as a color file is used.
Removing the color file makes the glitch disappear, but Geralt's beard will look somewhat strange when it comes to color (I tested this solution with the beard-only version of the mod for now, no idea how hair will look without the color file).
The mod looks really cool but on nextgen you lose a lot of fps compared to the 1.32 version of this mod. Like you wont lose a lot of fps if you downloaded the 1.32 mod at all, in fact its almost the same and you get the same wind effect for the hair but for this version, you lose like 30 fps and it looks the same but the wind effect is not as drastic as the old one.
Anyways still amazing tho, good luck running this on dx12 where the performance is already bad enough haha
Hi! Great mod, I love it and it is an integral part of my every game, but I have a small question. Should the hair be transparent in this area? It spoils my immersion a bit
I have noticed this before the release, and It's present even with vanilla hairworks. I assume it's something to do with the way next gen update renders on DX12.
Are you using Raytracing alongside Hairworks? I've experienced the same issue with unmodded HairWorks enabled alongside full Raytracing. Disabling either HairWorks or Raytracing seems to fix it. Unfortunately this appears to be only a workaround as there really is not fix for it.
https://imgur.com/a/jwKmIBq I'm trying to only use the beard mod in combination with disable the hairworks for hair but keeping the beard. This is all I get.
