hi, there is already such a mod: Characters Reworked Project . which has improved all main and secondary characters, women and men. and so on npc . the total size of all files together is 4 GB
I hate to say this since I generally admire Paul's work so much, but I love that Characters Reworked Project leaves those litte wrinkles and scars and so on. 😳 These imperfections give them more realism.
No worries, kicker. That's the beauty of modding -- we can make the mods to our liking and/or choose what to use or not use. I know these textures will not be to everyone's liking, but I created them for myself and decided to share with the community for those that do want them.
Great work on them all. Genuinely the best option out there on all of them. Also like how u didn't just do triss and yen, theres tons out there already and while it would be nice cuz i like this style, I love the selection of changes.

Thank you! No, it won't put extra load on your system. I also use HC4K with these mods in higher priority. The way the game works is: it can only load one of a particular file, so if there are 2 or more of a file, the one in highest priority "wins" and gets loaded by the game. All the others remain in your mods but are not used, so no extra burden.
I really appreciate that you improved the characters' faces. Your handiwork has given the skin of the faces an amazing look - it has become cleaner, and the characters have become better and more beautiful. You are very talented, good luck to you!

Please tell me, is it possible to improve the makeup of the character of a Nobleman’s Daughter? I looked all over the nexus and couldn’t find any makeup for this girl. This character is found in the Hearts of Stone dlc, and he also uses the novigrad 2 preset. I have been using her face in Geralt Doppler fashion for several years now, but there is no good makeup, so everyone forgets about this character. I really ask you about this.)
The Nobleman's daughter does not have a unique head or texture. She uses the generic h_08_wa__novigrad_citizen face, and there isn't a makeup variant of that texture. To answer your question, yes, it's possible to edit the texture and to give her makeup. Several of the other NPCs have makeup and plain variants of the same face (Sasha is one example). Unfortunately that is outside of the scope of this mod and probably requires better photoshop / image editing skills than I have.

Nice project, friend! I've been looking for something like this for some time, glad someone took it upon their hands! Would you consider making a version of Ves (maybe also Cerys and Young Ciri if you get to that point) that keeps the scars but removes the freckles and moles? Or even a version with no blemishes (scars, freckles and moles), similar to the Clean Faces option from HotC?
I completely agree with you. Unfortunately that is out of the scope of this mod and is probably cost/effort prohibitive. There are only about 50 unique faces for common background NPCs. The game differentiates them by using different hair and clothing to make them look different, but it is pretty obvious (and immersion breaking) when different background NPCs look the same as secondary characters (e.g. Sasha, Astrid, Bea, Margrit, etc). The problem is that it is a ton of work to create new faces. You need to create a mesh and textures -- neither of which are easy feats unless you are a professional graphic artist and/or modeler. And then once you have those, you have to edit hundreds of entity files to put the new faces onto the background NPCs in the game. Although I agree with you that there is a need, sadly, I doubt anyone will ever do it for the reasons I listed.
