      To be honest, I don't know. I don't use Brew With A View mod. I read the description for that mod, and my guess is they won't be compatible. Brew With A View has some of the same functionality as Friendly Meditation, and that mod does not work with this one.

      You can always download it and try it, and then let us know the results.

    Just tested this mod alongside friendly meditation there were no conflicts that I could see in script merger which is great, however it will conflict with witcher armor mods such as Witcher school set rework/ balance

      Hello, I'm the author of Witcher School Set Rework. Can you take screenshots of the "conflict" you're talking?

      Hey Lewis I'll certainly do that for you but to clarify where I saw the script conflict was in the effects manager.ws. If its fine to merge then awesome.
      This is the conflict I see in script merger that you requested.

      You should always merge scripts and xmls unless the mod page explicitly tells you not to.

      Alright then I'll go ahead and merge those 2 files I was just a bit concerned it might break the rework mod but hopefully not. Its been ages since I played let alone modded witcher 3 hence the confusion/concern.

      Don't worry about it. It will only break it if you DON'T merge them. It's best practice to merge scripts and xmls so that they work together.

      As long as the game works and plays nicely and as it should that's all that matters in the end, Kudos as well for the awesome QOL mod it bugged me that mediating would get rid of the buffs. Thank you for all your help as well its greatly appreciated ^^

    I'll make Buff Charge compatible patch for this great mod.

    [EDIT] Actually, will just incorporated the mod to the Buff Charges.
    1. remove  effectManager.ws from buff charge mod ?  and use this mod instead ?

      I think the Preparations mod has a mod menu toggle that replicates effects of this mod, so maybe this change will increase compatibility between Buff Charges and Preparations as well?

      Hi Lewis,

      quick question slightly related to this: What does effectManager.ws do in the Buff Charges mod?

      i see it changes this line:

                  //modBuffCharges++
                  if(owner == GetWitcherPlayer() && ( (W3RepairObjectEnhancement)effects [i]|| (W3Effect_Shrine) effects[i] ) )

      It prevent those buff to be removed when meditating. So basically like how Buff Persist After Meditation does as well.

    So if the buff runs out, and I meditate, will my buff in my inventory still be replenished? (concoctions)

    Oh, I'm so happy you made this mod. Awesome!

    I just have 2 questions as I think I noticed another mod like this before, but it didn't work the way I hoped it would.
    1) Does time still flow when meditating, subtracting the remaining time on the buffs from potions, decoctions, food, etc.? Or does it pause the time remaining on the buffs?
    2) Is it compatible with real-time meditation mods like Friendly Meditation? I'm asking this because the other mod that claimed to do this wasn't and so it was virtually useless since meditating in real-time would still subtract the duration from the buffs and remove the buffs.

      1) I'm not 100% sure what you're asking. There is nothing in the code that alters the time; it simply does not remove the buff. Time might continue to flow while meditating is happening (e.g. if you have 4:50 remaining and the process of meditation takes 10 seconds, then 4:40 might be remaining) but to be honest I didn't test all these scenarios down to the pinpoint second. The mod just stops the game from removing the buff when that part of the script says it should.

      2) I don't know, didn't test it. I don't use Friendly Meditation. If it isn't compatible, sorry, then it will only be for players like me that don't use Friendly Meditation. That doesn't make it useless.

      1) Yes, that's what I meant, cuz previously, holding the meditate button for 2 seconds, for example, would remove several minutes off the remaining time of the buff. This is because of real-time meditation however.

      2) Mm, I'll have to test it then. I really do hope it is compatible though :) Cuz it sucks that we can't get the benefits of this really useful mod idea.

      EDIT: Yep just tested it. Mod seems completely incompatible with Friendly Meditation or any real-time meditation mod. Time still flows on the buffs and removes the buffs within just a few seconds. So sad..I really wanted to be able to use this..  :(

      Friendly Meditation doesn't touch the effectManager script. It must remove the buff somewhere else, likely in a piece of custom code. When I get some time I'll see if I can find it.

      Oh that would be so awesome if you could make it compatible. Thank you.
