I have been playing for quite some time, enough to get to level 26. And I have about 50 lesser blue mutagen, about 20 lesser green mutagen... 0 lesser red mutagen. I only have this mod and the recommended guaranteed mutagen drop mod. I am starting to wonder about bugs. Should I?
Reds are more rare at the first of the game. Not a lot of enemies drop them early on. And the only ones that this mod changes are nest bosses specifically.

I saw that the description said that this mod is incompatible with mods that edit a certain file, but I just assumed that meant we would have to use script merger to make all the mods work. But when I attempted to merge the mods script merger did nothing. So I was just wondering what about this mod makes it not mergeable because it is the first mod on here I have come across that could not be merged.
Edit: It only didn't work when I selected "Create all merges", When I ticked the check mark next to the mods I wanted to merge and selected, "Create Selected Merges" it worked like a charm. So that was weird but it did merge.
This mod doesn't use scripts or edit any scripts. All it does it edit the loot table file def_loot_monsters.xml. So if 2 mods edited that same file they would conflict and the higher priority mod would be used.
I know this mod doesn't have any scripts. But in the Script Merger program you can also merge bundled texts which includes def_loot_monsters.xml. If you create a merge it launches the Kdiff3 program and I just have to manually select which changes from which Mods I would like to override the other. So saying that this mod is strictly incompatible with other mods that edit def_loot_monsters.xml is false.
def_loot_monsters.xml is very sensible to merge, it's one of the bundled text files you should not merge, otherwise there is a risk something is missing and cause bugs.
I only adjusted monster nest bosses to have a guaranteed drop. The regular lesser red mutagen drops are still the same. I didn't want to make it too easy to obtain them but just wanted to prevent myself from save scumming the encounters that I knew dropped rare mutagen.
They are different mods. As far as I understand No missable Mutagen is about mutagens where you have to make certain choices in order to obtain them. For example the quest with doppler thief. You have to actually kill him to take the mutagen as a reward. With the mod it will give you the mutagen even you spare him. This mod here is more about increasing the drop rate of monster's specific mutagens + lesser red mutagen.
