Finally started a new game (well new game+) from scratch - killed Radivod - did all of the quests in order, and Dykstra is ruler and yet Tomira still does not appear. I wonder if this only works for the base gsme playthrough and not NG+
I tested again with a NG+ save and it's working all right. There's one original genetic female herbalist in the garden. Don't mess her with the one I added.
Still the same - I wonder if 1.32 playing NG+ is my issue - otherwise, no idea why...the toon itself does not matter - love the idea and generic toon if need be. Great mod
In theory, if I go to Toussaint early and spawn the generic herbalist NPC, can I later do Reason of State, uninstall the mod, reinstall the mod, then go back to Toussaint and spawn Tomira?
Nevermind, found them. I wasn't aware that they would appear in the 2nd row from the bottom and not replace the last herbs Tomira planted in the top row.
Outstanding mod...i wanted to see if anyone else hasencountered this outcome. After finishing Practicum inAdvanced Alchemy quest and restoration of the garden, when I do this immediately after a Poet in Distress,Tomira does not appear but a generic NPC – but if I complete the main quest first, and then proceed to Blood and Wine, she appears.Any thoughts as to why?
Because you haven't killed him, then go to Toussaint to spawn the herbalist, so she will be a random NPC. There is not a certain destiny of Radovid at this point of time, so Tomira shouldn't be spawned, what if you don't kill the king later, then it will break the immersion of the plot. The only way to spawn Tomira is to make sure Radovid is dead or she's been rescued.
by kill radovid do you mean finish the "reason of state" quest? because in that quest philipa kills radovid, do you specifically need to kill radovid yourself (if that is even possible)? do you need to finish the main vanilla story line to spawn tomira? cause i have the same problem as OP, only, i havent finished reason of state before I installed this mod, so learning that i have to do specific things to get tomira, i decided to finish reason of state quest and then went back to corvo bianco to see if tomira replaces the npc, didnt work, what do i do to get tomira instead of the npc?
The quest Practicum in Advanced Alchemy should be completed. And yes, should also finish the Reason of State quest. But remember that if you've already spawned the NPC, then Tomira won't replace her. All quests should be completed before the herbalist is spawned.
is there no way to replace the npc anymore? is it set in stone? i really cant go back to my past save cause ive already done so much in the span of time.
man that is such a bummer, considering people would have to play the game a considerably long time and has to do a lot of things in order to get the bare essence of your mod, i mean, its tomira, everyone wants tomira, and knowing you cant get her without doing certain things that could potentially be out of your control without having the knowledge first is just wack, doesnt matter tho, still love this mod, brings a bit more immersion and life to corvo bianco.
Did you kill Radovid? If not, and you didn't go to White Orchard to save Tomira's life, she will be burned to death. Then she won't have a chance to come to Corvo Bianco.

Thanks
The herbs from that mod should be in the fifth row of the garden.
and then proceed to Blood and Wine, she appears.Any thoughts as to why?
Nonetheless, great mod
Love your Mod. But, is there any reason why I have always an NPC instead of Tomira?
