There is a way to replace the Ban Ard cuirass without breaking the Zirael armor. Instead of replacing all textures used by the Ban Ard breastplate you could rename new textures and edit filepaths in t1_01_mg__common_heavy_lv2.w2mesh and t1_01a_mg__common_heavy_lv2.w2mesh . At first I tried changing filepaths to those from a_01_mb__temeria_guard.w2mesh, but the armor looked blurry. Then I used your upscaled textures and now it works, at least for me.
in next gen it's about 200 mods limit. A lot depends on the mods themselves, there are mods that do not interfere with the limitation, there are mods that lower it much below 200. I personally use between 220 and 240 mods, and I have combined many of them, especially the script ones that change a given function or row or rows... Many I would be grateful after your mods to make them all in one. that way I can use them all. I appreciate your work. Now I have a problem with a mod more robes, it bellow my limit with more than 10 mods and crashes terribly. A is great. It seems there is a conflict with some mod with the textures because if it is alone it is fine.

Update: I added the icon, the link is the same
I use 60 mods and game is fine
but, yeah it's possible, I'll make a few mods more and maybe then pack them into one
and btw if i remember correctly there is the way to disable mod limit or it's already disabled on nextgen idk
