Side note: I modified the float into 3000 to get a mob down with 2 hits. (Level 19 fighting 29) As for "normal" mobs, the 100 mod is pretty much enough, if you don't want it to hit 348k
Are you in the mood to update your mod for Patch version 1.12?
That`s a very important mod, of course it is overpowered like it is set after downloading it, but with a MILT-setting of 15 it is no cheating and a nice fully usable Igni destroying about 1/3 of the enemys health bar (same level as Geralt)
Thank you so much for this mod, it works PERFECTLY!
If you want it for better balancing instead of cheating, use the lines:
public const var IGNI_SPELL_POWER_MILT : float; defaultIGNI_SPELL_POWER_MILT = 51.0f; //default was 1.0f
45 - 51.0f is a great value. For example if you fight Level 34 Witch Hunters while Geralt is on Level 38 with 51.0f Igni Power, the Witch Hunters (or other enemy soldiers) get 1/2 to 3/4 of their health bar destroyed and they burn for some seconds and that`s the way a powerful spell should be!
And last but not least: Fire is the most important thing in the Life of a Witch Hunter, so why don`t give em hell? I am sure they appreciate it, and sometimes you can hear them scream "more fire! more heat! I am freezing!"
Weaker enemys like insects and Level 8 Drowners and other weak enemys of course die after one Igni shot, but the same would have happened with one single sword stroke too - so it`s just about what style of combat would be your personal taste, magic or sword and no cheating.
The firestream function of Igni seems to be stronger too, but I don`t know how to edit the Power of the fire stream function to put this magic spell on the same level as the Igni Wave. Does anyone know how to edit the damage values of the Igni firestream? This is in vanilla game another one of the complete useless spells which urgently need an overhaul to be useful again for combat mage "Geralt de Rivia"....
Hi to you. Great idea for extermination of foes. Since patch 1.10, I have lost the ability to change the weapons stats. Have you looked at where this may be found in all of these files?
Hi to all. After wracking my mind about how to continue modding Witcher 3, I did some research and found that I needed to use some different tools to do the job. I had to download some new tools and learn to use them.
Then I decided to implement the mods that I wanted in my game. I made the appropriate files that Witcher 3 requires for it to fully recognise the files in the appropriate format. The same file format is present in patch v1.10, so you can continue modding the appropriate xml files. Then I tested the new mods in the game. I then fine tuned to my satisfaction.
What a relief to know that I can now do my thing again.
What you will find is that there is a lot of information to be found, and there are lots of good souls that will also give you help when you ask.
So continue making mods for this great game.
Tools Needed 1. ModKitchen - GUI for The Witcher 3 ModKit, found here. 2. Witcher 3 Mod Tools, found at the cdprojektred.com site.
Oh, and by the by. Having one variable in the game files which allows for the setting of this feature is there because cdprojectred wanted us to find it and somehow placate (appease, pacify) us. IMHO.
Thank you very much for this mod! Igni had been rendered complete useless after nerfing it down and down and even more down in every Patch, it took not even one Millimeter down every enemys health bar and I haven`t used this spell for days even weeks because it was complete useless and just some funny graphics effect without any use - but now IGNI is back to it`s old glory I´m not going to cheat but x10 multiplier should be o.k. and realistic. Need to test it out how much damage it does. 2-3 fireshots to exterminate bugs should be realistic and real-life and lore friendly.
Finally a Witcher which is able to do some serious Witchcraft =) and not always 100% sword combat ONLY without the capability of doing any magic
Thanks for a real fine and nice and truly gameplay enhancing mod.
it's kind of a dick move to not only advertise your own mod, but to bash another author's mod on said authors page. Come on, if you don't like it then don't use it. Your mod isn't anymore valid than this one.

I downloaded it manually but it also failed. I can't seem to get the darn mod to work.
Help please? .. I'm confused as to what i'm doing wrong here.
Did you set the priority for this mod into your mod.settings file?
Have a look at this website. It explains everything about mods for this game.

Have fun.
.... yes ... this is the only thing you need to do. Unless you have some other mod that modifies the same file I modified with this mod.

Not sure...
Was this a mod before 1.10?
