I can't get this mod to work for me for some reason :( I tried both a manual download, and a vortex download. Neither have the tools showing up near the entrance to the cellar. Can anyone help?
Hi. This sounds promising. Before I install just a quick question: Would it be possible for a version without renovation requriments? Or perhaps an easy way to tweak the script so its usable? I do not like the upgraded house furnitures and armor rack deorations and try to avoid them.
Thank you for answering. Would it be too much to ask for a version that doesnt need the house upgrades? Perhaps like the olive harvest mod of yours? Maybe adding a quest or two like the honey mod. Payment would be also ok.
I really dont like the armor displays and furniture.
Hey, me again :) One more time I have to thank you for creating such wonderful mods. From the optional files I translated localization/en.w3strings.csv to German:
;meta[language=de] ; id |key(hex)|key(str)| text 2119099000| |option_dlcvineyard|DLC: Corvo Bianco Weinkeller I see it has a different id as 2118548000 (from your https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/8699)
Hi, do I have to complete full BaW main story to get the toolbag? Or I just need to complete the "Wine is Sacred" quest? (I have fully restored Corvo Bianco by the way)
Sorry for not trying out the full BaW and post a question here... but I completed "Wine is Sacred" quest and don't see toolbag in the cellar. Is that bug or you originally mean we have to done full BaW to get the toolbag in cellar.
Wine is sacred is necessary, but full BaW is not. However you should also get Corvo Bianco's renovation done to trigger this mod. You sure your Corvo Bianco is fully restored?
I think so, yes. I have got the cutscene where I sit with majordomo and drink wine after restoring it. So I guess yes...
There is an "Open" button when near the barrels, but it just does the animation, no wine no nothing. And the toolbag is missing. So idk what is wrong ._.
I have tried a previous save but still don't see the toolbag unfortunately.. the barrels still have the "Open" prompt. I suppose you modded it that when we complete the "wine is sacred", and corvo bianco is restored, the toolbag will appear?
Or the toolbag is supposed to be there all the time no matter if we done the quest or upgraded Corvo Bianco? In that case i guess my toolbag is missing :<
Still dunno what is the cause: toolbag got misplaced, I did not complete something the mod required, or it's a bug. This is even a DLC which means it's the simpliest thing to install and use compared to other stuffs here. Really sad dunno why it's not working for me :<
( I also thought a bit about any mods of mine could have moved or conflicted with the toolbag. But again, it's a DLC so i guess the chance for this is very very little, if I'm correct)
I myself, including many of my modder friends, have tested this, never had this tool box missing issue, so it's not likely a bug. The box is supposed to be on the right side after you entered the cellar, like in the picture I uploaded. Also it even doesn't require Corvo Bianco get fully restored, but only the initial renovation of it will be OK. And it has nothing with Wine Wars.
Actually if you don't have any tools in your inventory, there should not be the "open" prompt. Do all the taps appear on the barrels at the first place in your case?
I see. Thank you so much for the mod and the constant support. I'll try to figure out myself as we've eliminated almost all the possibilities, pretty sure I messed up somewhere and not the mod. I'll update if I find out anything, so others could avoid my mistake i guess :v
Again, thanks for the great mod mate. Hope u do fine, just like ur mods.
I only have 1 hammer and 1 tap from the Castel Ravello quest, it's still in my inventory. When clicking "Open", Geralt pulls out a hammer and tap and do the animation, the process does not use the item from my inventory. There's also the notification on the left says "Received: " followed by a blank.
All the barrels have the "Open" button and i can press indefinitely. There are no taps on the barrel I'd say.
Though don't understand how does it happen like what you've encountered, I've found another bug during the test, lol. That if you don't get the hammer and taps first, the barrels could still be opened... I will upload a new version to fix that, see if this new version works on your end.
Sure do, I'll try it and update if anything is fixed. Honestly I still don't know how the toolbag could disappear in my case XD, unless I didnt complete some prerequisites. Like if everyone else is using fine, the toolbag should just be there like usual. I don't have much understanding but I think a DLC should not have any conflict or be overwrited by other DLCs and stuffs like that. Also the toolbag is a new object you added, so it alone should just appear as the codes you write.
Just curious, do you actually code so that the toolbag appears after Castel Ravello quest or it's just that. And what changes before and after the Castel Ravello quest? The toolbag will hide/show or it will be there the whole time, just can't use it if you haven't done the quest?
Man, usually I write short, sorry for following too long and asking too much for such a DLC mod like this...
Never mind, I'm curious too. The box will be invisible if the conditions are not fully matched. Actually there are 3 of them. 1st is "Wine is Sacred" quest done, which fact is "q703_done". 2nd is Corvo Bianco's renovation, which fact is "mq7024_renovation_done". 3rd is Geralt in Toussaint. If all three conditions matched, the dlc will initiate, then the tool box I added will appear.
I've installed the new file you uploaded. Seems I can still Open the barrels without any wine coming out. And the bag is still missing.
Solved: Given the facts above, I've tried using addfact(...) and the bag has appeared, what a relief I can finally drink wine virtually now. Also, my bestiary is update with Dettlaff, Syanna, and Anna Henrietta. I suppose.. this means I have to venture further into the main quest, which unlocks Syanna and complete Dettlaff storyline. I'm just taking a guess here, could you revisit the "Wine is sacred" fact and see if its correct and not the fact for completing a further quest?
Also if I have confused you by saying "Wine is sacred" quest while your initial intention was for the players to complete the main storyline, then I'm sorry for causing such a fuss. In other case, if you really meant "wine is sacred" is only needed, could you check the fact again? Since I really don't know and don't have access to anything about modding. Glad if I could help.
Edit 2: I couldn't but say that this mod is just as awesome as your other mods, the moment i receive wine from the tap.
Tks so much for the detailed support. I'm just curious is "q703_done" the correct code for "wine is sacred" quest specifically? I tried to find the full quest id list but ended up in vain. Just want to make sure it's correct and not the code for another quest or the full big quest (At this point I'm just trying to help, if the fact is correct then don't mind me).
Rlly rlly enjoy all your mods, truly. Hope you do fine and thanks for the hefty number of mods with small tweaks to spice up the game. I'll end my line of post here. Kudos to you
"Wine is Sacred" is not the only quest that has to be complete. I think you also need to finish "Capture the Castle" at least - perhaps more. I have finished "Wine is Sacred" but the wine cellar is not useable for me yet. When I used the code addfact(q703_done), a few things were added to my character info, including to Anna Henrietta and Detlaf, so I think it's necessary to complete the whole quest string that starts with "Wine is Sacred". I've loaded a previous save so I can continue with "Capture the Castle".
[Edit] I just finished the last few quests and the entire game, and now the wine cellar works! Yay!
I downloaded the file and unzipped it in the dlc folder, but when I tried loading my last save the game said I didn't have any DLC and many other things. What am I doing wrong?

So remove anything that isn't "bob", "dlc1" to "dlc20" and "ep1" (there is no dlc19).
Then try again install the mod and make sure there is the prefix "dlc" next to those dlc game.
