Install and function: Working fine with 4.04. Did not work with Vortex, had to do manual install but it's easy to do that. If you're having issues with the menu not showing up, I've found if you put a ; on the list line of the dx11/12 menu files, the last item doesn't show up. Could be unique to my setup, but that's how I've fixed missing menus.
Review: One of the bets QoL mods I've used. This is probably my fourth or fifth playthrough over the years. Skellige is tedious if you're going for completion. So many smuggler's caches and other locations. Find a boat. Get on it. Grab the rudder. Sail. Let go of rudder. Jump in. Dive. Get back on boat. Rinse. Repeat eleventy thousand times. This mod saves so much time.
Yes, it's not lore friendly if you use it at max speed, but seriously, how much lore do you get from riding a boat over and over and over and over. Add this to the fishlung mod for breath and orca potion for vision and it makes those ? locations far less grindy. If you're a lore purist, consider it a mutation and give yourself a headcanon calling it sharkspeed or something.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Also, it may only be my perception, but it also feels like the xbow is loading faster underwater which is a great thing. I consider this mod a must have.
I totally agree with you. The smuggler's caches are all underwater, and those Sirens never leave me alone, it really wore me out when playing in Skellige.
Think last update may have broken something. No longer functions for me. I still have menu and can still change the rate but it doesn't do anything anymore. :(
