About this mod

Based on E3 Combat animations by ReaperAnon and inspired by 5thTowerMods original Armor Class Styles Mod. I have also used some of the animations from the amazing school of Roach Mod by robx99, specifically the half-swording animations. New move-sets for all Armor Classes including unique move sets for steel, silver and secondary weapons.

UPDATE 2.1 is live

Ill try and make a new video showing the changes implemented in the next few days.

If your like me you might get bored of the same animation profile being used for all weapons and all armor types. If so give this mod a try.

Steel and silver swords have different animations. And then steel and silver have their own unique profiles based on whether you are wearing light, medium or heavy armor.

I have created different combat animation profiles for the following.

Silver Sword Light Chest Armor (both strong and light attacks)

- dance and prance to your hearts delight....this is the most jumpy and spinny. But he does look like a cat when he fights...so there is that.

Steel Sword Light Chest Armor (both strong and light attacks)

- I do not think there is a single vanilla animation in this one, however I updated the stance switching code of reaperz so that they're are no obvious glitchy resets that happen between animations like in his original. In fact I eliminated all of those I believe. Still the transition is not quite as smooth as vanilla. I will have to add better transitions in the future. But better than the original E3 combat animations even as is. Most people probably don't even know what I'm talking about as it's not very noticeable at all.
(Let me know what you think of this profile set.)

Silver Sword Medium Chest Armor (both strong and light attacks)

-spins but geralt keeps his feet firmly planted on the ground as his armor is still heavy to be jumping around like a monkey. Utilizes two handed uppercuts and wide overhead whirl/slashes for his "big attacks". He also "stings" like a manticore and "bites" like a viper with lunges and jabs.

Steel Sword Medium Chest Armor (both strong and light attacks)

- no spins, but an overhead twirl. Mostly keeping two hands on the sword, however since it's medium armour there are a few more over the head attacks as the armor isn't super immobilizing. Also a few single hand hacks.

Silver Sword Heavy Chest Armor (both strong and light attacks)

- one spin I think in light attacks and one in heavy attacks. The silver swords versions of their steel counterparts are a little bit more spinny in general, as I wanted silver swords to possess a slightly different style than geralts steel fighting stance he uses against humans. My rationale is that he needs more momentum/power to cut through monsters. Maybe that's horrible reasoning, but it is what it is.

Steel Sword Heavy Chest Armor (both strong and light attacks)

- classic ursine armor style. no spins, two hands on sword, except for a slow lunging single handed uppercut. Otherwise mostly horizontal swings due to armor restricting over head motions and some armor smashing half swording heavy attacks for heavily armored monsters and men.

Secondary Attacks regardless of armor worn (both strong and light attacks)

-wield a hatchet and mace like a hatched and mace should be wielded. Short quick hacks and firewood chops.

Fist Attacks remain vanilla because that is how I like them. this was the reason I started this mod in the first place. I loved the less spinning animations in E3 improved combat animations but felt the fist fights were slightly ruined by their changes

All the different profiles are how I envision the weight of the Armor would effect geralt's movements. Most Steel Sword profiles have very little or no spinning attacks. Silver Sword profiles have more spinning but still much less for heavy armor than light or even medium.

Check the YouTube video in the videos tab. It's pretty raw footage, but it shows you all the main profiles. Secondary weapons are not shown. Or no armor variations. Check those ones out in game.

Should be compatible with scaar etc.
