Thank you all for downloading the mod! If you enjoyed it, it would be fantastic if you could leave an endorsement. Your support means a lot to me! Feel free to comment as you wish! 😃
This mod includes modifications to the rendering.xml and rendering.ini parameters aimed at enhancing and optimizing the overall graphics quality.
These graphical adjustments have been implemented for individuals who perceive ray tracing as excessively "noisy" or disruptive and wish to avoid activating the unfavorable and intrusive anti-aliasing methods (FXAA, TAUU, FSR, DLSS, XeSS), which, instead of mitigating noise or disruptions, exacerbate the issue and result in a smeared and blended visual effect.
This mod is for the Next-Gen version only
- Modifies presets for improved visuals: enhances shadow quality and distance, terrain rendering, water tessellation, trees and grass draw distances, and particle effects.
- Observing around 10% performance reduction on RX 6900XT NITRO+ Special Edition. Achieving frame rates of 90 to 120 fps in Novigrad, Oxenfurt, and Toussaint with these adjustments.
- DX11 and DX12 compatibility. Optimized for 1440p resolution at 60fps or 90fps, excluding ray tracing. Suggested GPUs include the 6800XT or equivalents for optimal performance with the Ultra+ preset.
- These configuration and initialization files are compatible with a variety of mods that include new texture and models. Be sure to follow the instructions provided by the specific mods to ensure proper compatibility.
- This mod fixes a minor bug in the post-processing graphics option 'sharpening' (SharpenAmount).
Just Drag and Drop the "bin" folder into the game directory
Safety 'bin' backup folder available in the files section!
Set a medium or high value for grass density and choose medium for the quantity of non-playable characters. This will significantly reduce the load on your GPU and CPU, respectively. Leave everything else on Ultra+. Also, consider disabling Blur, Motion Blur, Vignetting, Chromatic Aberration, Sharpening, and Camera Lens Effects.
However, in the case of a role-playing game like this, where gameplay is more focused on immersion and storytelling rather than fast paced/rapid action, you may find that a slightly lower frame rate doesn't significantly impact your overall experience.
N.B. If your game crashes, it could be due to your hardware or your mod list. You might have modified something in the "content" or "bin" folders, or there could be conflicts with other mods that modify the rendering.xml and/or rendering.ini files. I hope I have helped you.

My mod respects the limits of the game engine, ensuring stability and avoiding performance issues, graphical artifacts, and similar problems, thus making it safe and reliable. It approaches the maximum limit of the game engine to prevent errors and issues.
Please pay attention to what I have written in the description. However, you can't expect to notice every difference with the naked eye, but you will perceive greater immersion and consistency in the game environments.
Differences I was able to notice: - Shadows seem to be rendering further; - LODs seem to be rendering further; - The author doesn't understand that they shouldn't move the camera when taking screenshots for comparison; - The author's AA is disabled, which means they're insane.
It becomes hard to trust the veracity of the claims from the description when these two last points are taken into account...
My mod remains within the tolerance limits of the game engine, ensuring stability and avoiding performance issues, graphical errors, artifacts, and similar problems. This prioritizes safety and reliability over competing mods. My mod approaches the maximum tolerance limit of the game engine to prevent errors and issues from arising. It's not better than the "Tweaks" mod; it's different, with a different purpose.
Lastly, but not least, it's a matter of personal preference that I don't use anti-aliasing. I'm not fond of the results it produces, including MSAA and SSAA. And objectively, it's not a determining factor in assessing the quality of a graphical mod. Furthermore, it allows users to better observe what this mod accomplishes.
If you're interested, I can work on an RT-Ultra+ version. This mod wasn't initially designed with ray tracing in mind, but I could certainly consider making that happen.
Hello! I'm back. I've looked into the rendering files and noticed that the RT Ultra+ preset already has all the settings set to ultra+, which matches my parameters.
Sorry, my english is not the best. So, when i enable RT Ultra it has already the same settings that your mod has ? Is that correct ? So, what looks better ? Your Mod with RT off, or RT ultra enabled ?
(For translation use Reverso, DeepL, Google Translate, etcetera...)
Your assumption is correct. When you enable RT Ultra+, it uses the same settings as my mod. RT Ultra+ doesn't have its own parameters; it simply references and uses the parameters I've set, as they are shared with the Ultra+ preset without Ray Tracing (RT). It's worth noting that enabling shadows in ray tracing might add some noise to the image and potentially reduce its overall quality. For the best experience, I recommend following my advice on performance optimization settings as well.
You will have to follow full instructions in the description for who have performance problems. In that case you will could have 45~50fps, imho. Please, give a feedback to the community.
I've modified all settings, not only Ultra+. They are lighter than Ultra+, but still much heavier than Vanilla. Anyway, try deactivating ray-tracing shadows and provide us with additional feedback, if you'd like.
An RTX-2060 could work at 1080p@60fps, yes, with 2*8GB high-speed and low-timings RAM, and a processor with at least eight threads running at around 3.5GHz, along with a sufficient value of instructions per clock.

Question about settings with this mod.
Select RT Ultra
BUT
RT turn all off, right ?
HBAO+ On
Reflections max
Right ?
Edit : Well, 85 Fps on max all ( but without RT)
Edit 2 :
Well, played it for a while with these settings im written, and yes, looks better.
Thank you very much for your feedback!
