Great idea, esp. the quick load. One question ...: Is it me or, is it always loading the "last save", not the quick safe? When the game creates a checkpoint or an auto safe, the quick load is not doing what it was supposed to (loading the "quick safe").
I´ve one question regarding using the quicksave/load function with an Xbox (one?)Controller. I´ve installed the mod with custom keybinds after your instrunctions (quicksave f5/quickload F6).
With Keyboard everything is working fine, but with Gamepad the saving with the menu button (it´s the button that looks like this = right... right?!) and quickloads doesn´t work. How can i set up custom keybinds for an xbox controller in my input settings file?
I would like to use it as how you described it for the default keybind.

PS: Is this mod maybe having problems with InterfaceAnimations?
Can't believe you're the first to notice, but I wrote it down wrong. It's not the Menu button, but the one to the left of it. According to Xbox.com that button it called the View button. And I see there's a second mistake as well. It must have been pretty late when I wrote that. What it should be:
Quick Save
Controller: Hold the "View" button (the button to the left of the Menu button) for 1 second, and release to save.
Quick Load
Controller: Hold the "View" button (the button to the left of the Menu button) and press R3.

Quickloading is now working with the keybinding your mentioned. But when i press the view button my inventory/menu will open, i guess its due to using the InterfaceAnimations Mod.
That´s not gamebreaking for me, i can still use F5 or the quick save option via the Pause Menu.
i don't like this patch, my settings that i entered in input settings are being deleted, i haven't found the solution for this yet, help me or i will have to uninstall this game, this update was not needed, i can't downgrade before, steam won't allow it :((
I always wondered whether it would be possible to make 'quick' manual saves. Countless mods were released yet I do not think any of them achieved such a result. Is it even possible?
Did you manage to find anything useful? I realize you have been busy with other projects however such a mod has been on my mind for a while. Cannot hurt to ask I guess :P
Definitely gona try this later tonight! it would be awesome to utilize the share button in the xbox controller for the quick save. I was looking into how to map that button to something else (e.g. F5) in order to utilize it better in the future but to no avail...
