Can confirm, does not work. At least, not with Slots Slots Slots. This one does though: No Skill Restrictions for 1.31. It still shows the lock icons in the UI, but you can ignore that.
Hey, I've just started learning how to make mods for W3 and I decided to try creating your mod on my own. I seem to have replicated it successfully, but I would really like this mod to work without having to start a new game. Do you know why this only works when starting a new game? Is it because xml files are only read when a new game is started? If this is the case, I wonder if there is a way to force the game to reread an xml file again.
This mod named: "Free Abilities" makes unlocking/upgrading skills for free without spending any skill points. Do check it out. And it been updated on 25th July 2020 and works perfectly on patch 1.32.
You can make a version of the mod that will do the same, but only, you can download skills only in turn: the first skill, the second and so on. And not immediately fifth or any in turn.
Question to the author of the mod. It is your idea that by default, the application of the mark Yrden, it switches to its alternative form, although I'm not pumped Yrden at all? Or is my mod not working properly?
it is working with latest patch -1.30 or 1.31 (GOTY) but you need to start a new game. I just did. Only because of this mod. GJ mincartoon. Thank you very much. It is game changing mod like no other without any drastic changes to vanilla balance. Thanks to you I can enjoy W3 even more. Thanks again
I don't know where this vile, horrible "feature" began where devs thought it was somehow great design to force the player to spend tonnes of points on utter garbage they won't use just to get to the ones he/she wants.
