Hi, this mod only works for v4.03 and upwards. The original mod author has a pre-next-gen version: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/342?tab=files
Omg thank you! I thought I'd go crazy with how fast my weapons deteriorated. What a stupid absolutely unfun mechanic. Thanks for fixing the game and updating this must have mod!
hi can you please do mod for w3eer to change pricis to normal not increse for dwolf dificulty to stay same 1.0x not to increase 1.5x (to be like wolf dificulty) only this need to be changed..
Hello , ive tried many indestructible mods and none of them are working , i tried this one as well and it dosent work. Im using mod manager and script merger ... 4.04 patch ... no error . Just dosent work ... i open the game and still i see some weapons are not on 100% durability. If you guys know how to solve this or have any advice please let me know. And just in case im not a noob , all weapons and armor go to 100% automatically right? I dont need to repair them so they can maintain the 100% durability ?
Hi, so this mod works like this as soon as it's installed:
all equipment and gear that you have will remain on the current durability until the game calls the "reduce durability" function. So let's say you have a sword which is at 57%: It will remain on 57% in your inventory until you equip it and hit an enemy with it. Normally the script would then reduce the durability even further with the aforementioned function, but with the modded script file it will just set it back to the max durability.
For me it doesn't work on 4.04. I have the mod installed and my sword and armor are going down in durability until it asks me to repair them. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong... I don't understand when you say: "all equipment and gear that you have will remain on the current durability until the game calls the "reduce durability" function". How do you activate that function then?
Can you help me or explain what I have to do to make it work?
@Yorchoso This function gets called by the Engine everytime you hit an enemy. It's not like you install this mod and your gear is instantaneously at 100%. You'd have to actually equip your damaged gear and hit an enemy with it (for swords) or get hit by an enemy (for armor).
Thanks for the reply! Well, my weapons and armor are degrading. I remove them and equip them again and when I attack they keep degrading... I've done everything and they're gradually being destroyed. I don't understand why it doesn't work for me.
Hey Lutzelodeon. I got help request about this mod and other mod (Set crown multiplier, to be precise). The problem was even if it's correctly merged, it does make error for missing bracket.
The cause of that is simply because this mod removed codes, instead of disabled. Removed code make harder for Script Merger to merge correctly. So, if you have times, I suggest rework the code structure by simply disable some code, not remove the vanilla code. That will make friendly mergeable and friendly compatible to any mods.
Should be good to go. Script merger will throw only one unresolvable error now which corresponds to the change where the durability is set to the maximum value for the equipped item. Let me know if it works for you :).
Yes, I looked at the crowns multiplier mod to see if it merges and I saw that it differs from the vanilla code (where the unnecessary spaces were removed), and I chose to stick with the vanilla formatting just in case. Glad that it works though :)
The archived version was a mistake from my side, so I've rolled it back instantly but it's still there as I forgot to just update this file with the new one - I'm not that familiar with Nexus from the mod author's side of things for now :)
my weapons appear to stay at 100% while equipped, but at some point after unequipping my weapon, which was formly 100%, i looked again and saw it at 70% ? is this a limitation/intended function or something buggy?
Hi, so I wouldn't worry about any weapon degradation that may happen when the weapon isn't equipped. The mod alters the weapon degredation function in a way where it usually sets it back to the maximum durability instead of degrading it when hitting an opponent.

It should look like this: Mod Folder
Also I do recommend using Witcher 3 Mod Manager - This tool will save you some headaches: W3 Mod Manager

Thank you so much for taking my proposition.
Why is new file archived?nvmThe archived version was a mistake from my side, so I've rolled it back instantly but it's still there as I forgot to just update this file with the new one - I'm not that familiar with Nexus from the mod author's side of things for now :)
