      Can't I have a version which JUST removes the storybook videos? I like the intro video. The previous version did just that but it seems to be for 1.12. Thanks anyways for the mod.

    To remove story recaps during loading, simply do this.

      Thanks for posting the suggestion from PCGamingWiki! It's a great resource.
      Sadly this did not work for me. (I'm playing 4.02)

      HOWEVER I found a fix! Adding the line instead to engine.ini located at
       \The Witcher 3\bin\config\base\engine.ini

      This works for me. Shoutout to ravensergio who posted this in the Skip Movies mod discussion.

      Just pasting the text here for others to copy/paste without having to copy from PCGamingWiki ot type it manually:

      DisableVideos=true
      I placed the text as per cronack1's post in "engine.ini" located here:

      \The Witcher 3\bin\config\base\engine.ini
      I'm on latest next-gen version of the game and it works perfectly.

    I confirm the "No storybook" optional files is Next Gen 4.04 Compatible

    It seems replacing metadata.store with this mod, crashes at start up.

      It works! Thanks!! SkippySkippy removes both intro videos and savegame loading videos, works for Next Gen version, and is exactly what I needed.
