More information for merging: after installing those mods,
open script merger, look left side (Conflicts side) and click script conflicts in that picture;
click that boxes and click "Create Selected Merge"
Script merger easily solves conflicts, click ok, ok, ok and ok.
Then you will see that on the right side (Merges side);
now you did the merging.
How to prioritize mods? look at that picture for example;
Give a lower number for my patch than other mods. For example, Gwent Redux 18, W3EE 16, W3EE Redux 12 and my patch 10. The patch has to overwrite other conflicted mods.
Now we are done! Close the script merger and play the game.
Apparently noone knows how to install this, what it does or if they should merge it. For anyone reading this in the future, this mod does the following: unifies the loot tables and shop vendors for cards in gwent redux with the inventories of vendors in W3EE Redux.
But what does that mean? It allows Gwent redux cards to appear on shops and vendors across the game. It also modifiers card rewards, both unique from quests and random rewards. That means that without this mod, you will not get to buy many new cards and will always see the small roster of cards of base gwent. You will get vanilla card rewards and not the gwent redux unique cards from certain opponents. You will not enjoy the expanded roster of cards of gwent redux because they are unable to be bought or earned from matches, although you will get to see the new effects and arts of cards, its just that your roster will be severely limited.
Is this mod required to play W3EE and Gwent redux? Technically, no, as in it will not crash or make you unable to beat the game or gwent quests. But not having this will severely limit the cards you get. If you care about gwent (which you apparently do if you installed Gwent redux), then yes, this is an important mod/patch.
How do I install this? Merges? First and technically unrelated, you need to merge the SCRIPTS, and ONLY the SCRIPTS. Otherwise the game will just not launch or corrupt itself. Now, to the GOLDEN QUESTION: Do I merge the XML? Answer: NO. Do not merge any XML (or anything that isn't a script). You should have 3 conflicts once you install this mod, either let Gwent redux take over, W3EE, or this mod. If you let W3EE take over, the above will happen and you won't get to buy/earn the new cards. If you let Gwent redux take over, then vendors will sell new cards, but you will not get W3EE shops (which are far more important). Lastly, you need to LET THIS PATCH TAKE OVER both W3EE and Gwent redux. NO MERGING, just let this mod take over the XML. This will allow both cards and W3EE items to appear on shops. If you have any other mod that also alters shops, then its up to you to figure out which one is more important.
If, and only if, a quest is somehow broken because it doesn't spawn an item you need to buy, or vendors start acting weird (hasn't happened to me and I installed this after 15 hours), uninstall this mod and let W3EE take over, it will refresh vendors with W3EE items, and you will keep your cards, but will not be able to buy more until you activate this patch again.
So I have been looking at the posts below and saw that you do not need the patch if you use the newest version of Gwent and W3ee Redux.
However, what I am still unclear on is if we are supposed to merge the def_lootshops.xml's that contain modW3EE and modGwentRedux, or just let the higher priority modW3EE take care of it? No matter what I try, if I use the patch or do not use the patch, trying to merge them pops up with unresolved merges that I have to fix manually. For example, when I try to merge modW3EE and modGwentRedux in def_lootshops.xml's this pops up. (see picture)
I had no issues with the .was merges, the problem I have is just with the xmls. The instructions on the website do not say to merge xmls so I hope that I am correct in my assumption and should not merge the xmls.
thank you for reminding me of this patch. I don't even know why I thought the merge is no more required. of course my merge is required, I updated the description page and deleted my mistaken comments.
Hey what to do with that def_loot_shops.xml conflicts between Gwent Redux and W3EE? Do I just leave them or solve? If solve, do I choose w3ee or gwentredux ?
I am not playing the Witcher currently... But I remember that to these two mods did themselves compatible and easily mergeable after NEXT-GENv4. you can see it in the second sticky post. don't use my patch, just merge them, the merger will solve all conflicts automatically wrong, you need to use my patch.

i am using the latest release of w3ee redux (jan/24) and gwent redux (v4.04) like this: https://imgur.com/undefined
Hello there! Thanks for the great effort to put two of my favourite concepts for Witcher 3 mod-wise together, but I can`t seem to get the playerWitcher.ws to merge normally (60+ merge conflicts). I`m using Gwent Redux NG4 and the latest version of Redux, seeing as NG3 botches the guiTooltipComponents as well. Tried it with 1.38a version of Redux, but unfortunately that also didn`t happen to function. Naturally, I followed the installation tutorials for all of the parties involved, but I can`t quite find the culprit. I`d be very grateful for help in resolving this conflict.

Took me 8+ hours of troubleshooting until someone said this patch actually exists lol
