My q for this mod is. Ive read the description few times, but i still dont understand what it effectively/practicaly does? It doesnt remove level req like other incompat mods you mentioned, so what does it do actualy? How does it practicaly affect the game? Thx for the answer!
Thank you for your kindness. I didn't put the word "Simplified" without reason, the mod does a very minimal change actually. You won't notice anything if you do a full playthrough with this.
But I think how it practically affects the game, is how valuable are relic and witcher equipment. If you find them or got as reward, usually means "you're doing great, here a very good sword", but they should be hard to get and not very practical. So, by purpose, I just make that great equipment requires a little bit more level than a regular "Magic/Master" equipment.
Also, as you know, each equipment has different stats (especially if you use Essential Weapon Rework for example), but the vanilla game randomised the amount of armour/damage and stats. This mod simply removes the random generator, so if you find two swords at the same times, now the real difference is the effective stats. No longer thinking "I take that sword because it does much more damage".
In my opinion, this mod has destroyed the "random number system" for me. After I removed this mod, there are no additional random bonuses on swords anymore.
Yes, I know about this mod. But I need to get this generator back so that random characteristics start appearing on the equipment again. In general, I'm not rushing you) Just check it out, please, when you can.
Strange. There may be such an effect from using this mod with your crossbow mod... I can't imagine what other mod could have caused this problem. Only the description of this one says that it removes random bonus stats from the equipment. And I don't use any other mods for rebalancing or levelling.
