Thank you all for your feedback. I have reported this fix again to CDPR. Maybe with all your help to let know about this fix to other people, we will force  CDPR to fix this bug properly, without losing image quality.

Im at a loss for words. I came from console been gaming on console my entire life up till over 2 months ago. I invested in a 3080 rig. I just started using mods on pc. I was excited for the witcher 3 next gen update but on my 3080 i was getting crazy fps drops into the high 30 low 40 on dx11 and dx12 even with ray tracing off. Your mods memory leak fix and this rt fix has fixed my issue. I can honestly say this is not a placebo effect. Im getting over 80 fps at native 4k ultra+ on dx11 version and on dx12 im gettting 50 -60 at 1440p with raytracing on ultra. I was dipping in down to 30's with ray tracing before your mods at times and had crazy studder. Bravo im so thankful. You and whoever helped make this possible have my many thanks. Now the game is playable. I considered going back to 1.32 version.

I don't know if this is same bug. The screen gets blurry then a COD. I have it set to dx12. I have 4gb texture memory 1080p on my laptop nvidia 1650.

nvidia driver 551.23   FXAA on that's now. I've some weird bug that locks me out of individual program settings.

Even before I added the new textures, I had crashes. The mod list is small. I use the witcher 3 mod manager and script merger, original.

Is this the same memory leak?  I use a very few texture upgrades. I can get the mod list.

      Thanks...

Maybe but for your Config it's much better to choose dx11 mode, will give you a lot better performance without almost any graphic differences.

this is game engine tweak, that's why it should work on every platform with mods support.

Thanks again for your tip, it seems to be working, but if I do everything correctly I end up with an average of 35 fps with RT activated.
    Is this normal?
I have nitro 16 with RTX 40470 16 GB memory.

Man this worked wonders for me. I am running on DX12 but with RTX off so I thought this fix won't change a thing for me. I just noticed I always start at 60fps and would drop to 30 fps after 10 minutes of playthrough. With this fix it has been a stable 60 fps so far. You are a hero sir!

this mod makes my Antialiasing DLSS awful quality any fixes? -------> FXAA is what i use to stop the awful quality. its more of a work around.

Edit: I just wanted to add here and say I've tried high & ultra+ geralts body is poor quality for anything other then ultra+ due to another mod will this mod still be able to function with ultra+ texture quality & would i need to edit anything in the .ini to make it work?

Sorry, this did not fix. I have RTX 3070, I5-12600k, 32GB DDR5 Ram 6000MHz, Reshade for sharpening, and I play this game with high texture setting. ın Novigrad after 5 Minutes of running around I get frame dorp from 60fps to 42-45 with stutter.

Maybe something else then VRAM causing this, do sensors screens like i wrote in few post below, maybe we will find cause.

It does help. I didn't even need to fast travel, I just rode a horse and ran all over the map in the game, my vram kept increasing over 96%, and I observed crazy GPU PCI-E BUS usage. Even using the 4070, I actually dropped from 100fps to 70fps during this process, and low frames appeared frequently. At the same time I noticed that the effects of FG were very poor (ghosting, lag over 100ms), even no FG my original frames were over 50 (but completely unplayable, frequent stutters, worse than the 30 frames I played on xbox ).

I wish someone would make a mod like this for Cyberpunk 2077 as it has the same engine issues.

sry i didn't saw your replay, maybe problem is somewhare else, first if you could take screenshot of GPU-Z man and sensors tab window:
      https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-gpu-z/

first run this program, run game and after FPS drop happens go to thoes windows and take a screenshot, also run HWmonitor before the game and take screenshot in same time like GPU-Z:
      https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

      (stretch to cover all sensors)
you can add screens here or link to https://imgur.com/
