Oh nice, I give it a try and see if it what I need... It's so annoying.... I enter a ruin prepared to throw a bomb, and I just got a torch in my hand and got confused... and sometimes get killed by some boss monster. I mean, for what reason did I put cat potion in my Z slot...
I'm not very comfortable when a burning torch automatically appears in my hand, I don't need it at all, so thank you very much for eliminating this phenomenon with your mod.Great job!
a mod to disable auto sword drawing would be great. there's an option in vanilla game ,but its for decoration it seems. just broke a silver sword for tenth time, came right here complaining to you xD
Hello again. I came up with another idea to add "if (itemName == 'Torch') return;" to the function PlayerSelectQuickslotItem so that the torch is not selected at the right time. As a result, this is the situation. The torch is not equipped - no equipment, no select and no commentary. Torch equipped, but not selected - it will not be selected (instead of bombs or crossbow), will not taken and is not commented. The torch is equipped and selected - will not be taken, but there will be a comment.

Geralt will still say phrase about light but won't use torch
