are you sure you downloaded the right file? because it works fine on my version of the game, except for kaer morhen armor all the other starting gear have 3% attributes
Use these console commands while you have the mod installed and you should get the armor exactly how it looks in the photos above: additem('Starting Armor') additem('Starting Gloves') additem('Starting Pants') additem('Starting Boots')
Could we have a balanced version with each piece having 10% of piercing/bludgeoning/slashing resistances and 12% of monster/elemental resistance on each piece? It will be closer to Grandmaster resistances that way, but still better overall on that part. Thank you.
Bro can you please add improved stats for Starting Swords and Crossbow (given by Vesemir) ? Increase the vanilla attributes by 40% and just add any reasonable number to armor piercing (+50), crit chance (20%), crit bonus damage (20%) and bonus XP from killing humans (20%) or killing monsters (30%).
you can find in the above comment the two mod that have those features, or you can tell me how exactly you want the starting sword stats and attributes to be and I'll gladly make them for you
Hello again. I checked you mentioned mod but he don't support the crossbow you supported so my request could you please add a option separately for only crossbow? So we can use starting gear and the crossbow with stats.
Wouldn't you be able to make another file with only lower values, for example +10 for each piece of armor and +20 for an improved jacket? It would also be great to make starting swords with indications for armor penetration and bleeding ... ))
https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5651 https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3390 You can check them out, I believe the starting sword included armor penetration and bleeding already
https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3161 Once you installed this and all the requirements, run the program as administrator, click on file (on top) and then new mod, name them whatever you want then click add file from bundle (on the left bar) and navigate: Bundle -- gameplay -- items(items_plus if you want to edit NG+ content) or Bundle -- dlc -- either bob (Blood and Wine) or ep1 (Heart of Stone) -- items(items_plus if you want to edit NG+ content) Here's the tricky part, you have to find what xml does the thing you want to edit, in this case we will modify the Ursine Silver sword which is in the def_item_crafting_weapons.xml file The item isn't labeled like what they are in the game, you have to go to the game wiki then search for that item, in the item page you will find the item code and that was labeled in those xml file (in this case the Ursine Silver Sword is labeld Bear School silver sword) Once you certain that the xml contains the item you want to edit, double click it then Add marked files to mod Right click on the xml and then click Open File in explorer. Open the xml file with Notepad and then you can start editing.
https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5565 You can check this out for a better tutorial, this one edit gwent card but it the same because both editing sword stat and editing gwent card are just editing xml file I believe you'll be pretty fine with all those stats and attributes cause it'll be nightmare for both of me and you to explain, but if there's something that you don't understand just dm me Another thing that I must add is ALWAYS edit with notepad or any text editor, never use WolvenKit Mod Explorer to edit
I will leave here below the characteristics of armor and starting weapons if you want and you can make a separate file I will be very grateful) if it takes you a lot of time, then I myself will suffer with these file editing programs over the weekend ))) I play with the NoLevels mod and imagine a game more like The Witcher 1)))approximate statistics and attributes (if not difficult): boots: armor 5 and resistance +5 damage gloves: armor 5 and resistance +5 damage pants: 10 armor and resistance +10 damage jacket: 20 armor and +15 damage resistance (also +25 burning) well, and improved jacket: armor 30 and resistance +30 (+25 poison and bleeding, and +50 burning) you can leave one slot on each part of the armor for glyphs and two slots for an improved jacket))) and slightly strengthen the crossbow - by raising the attack power to + 150% and + 50% armor penetration forswords armor penetration +25 and three slots for runes :) I hope this does not look too demanding... Thanks again in advance) Excuse me, but can I ask if you could transfer the names of the equipment from the mod that you indicated to me first? https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/5651
