Cool list. Easy to merge: looks great and up to date. Not to wade into the 1.32 v NG fight, but thanks for keeping up something for the latter crowd. Heh, most of my go-to comprehensive, non-youtube lists got deleted.
Hey Vonum! I always find myself returning to this page, and it's even bookmarked at the top of my folder haha! ~ I just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude for this amazing list. Thank you so much for putting it together, you are awesome!
When you use the merged free DLC, Script Merger can't locate any of the vanilla DLC XML bundles because of how they are packed. Does anybody know if all the DLC related vanilla files are properly overwritten by mod files when they are packed this way?
Based on my personal experience, I have used the merged DLC for a long time and it has worked flawlessly, so I hope this information is helpful to you. Have a good day, sir.
Really nice work on your modlist, great job. BlitzFX really was a wonder-mod, I hope it comes to DX12. Honestly your screenshots of v1.32 look better than my V4 DX12 game! Are you really only using default grass? I got great mileage out of Meadows (https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/4757) and I don't think it offers a serious FPS hit. It's a toss up to me, because vanilla grass is frequently ugly (includes a lot of tall dry ugly grass stalks), but Meadows while it makes the grass lush, also makes grass fields look kinda samey. Like someone planted the same kind of grass all across Velen. Just my 2cp.
Thank you, I try my best. I did answer this since there was someone with a similar statement.(On a deleted article under my ReShade page)
I love meadows it looks great and I was using it for a long time, but after a while I have had noticed a certain type of flowers not looking right. Then I decided to have a test of these but with vanilla grass, which in my opinion look way better as meadows ones look broken. To come to the last conclusion is that vanilla also offers way more variety and more wilderness which fits the Witcher world more due to that fact. Which is why I recommend it the most.
PS. I'm kind of a perfectionist, if I see something is not right within the mod then I discourage to use it.
Great modlist! Thanks! Hawk Lighting looks well. But, unfortunately, mods "Rustic Pines" and "Fall Birches" not works, when "Hawk Lighting" installed. But works well with other lighting mods. Priority settings doesn't take effect. Anybody knows, how to fix this?
Absolutely not a bad mod list at all. Of course it's all personal preference, but I'm personally leaning more towards using Immersive Lighting as lighting mod, since it also covers Toussaint on its own instead of needing a serperate mod just for that area. I appreciate you letting me know about BlitzFX, though. The visuals from that seem like an absolute game changer! Can't wait for it (and maybe most of this list) to get updated to the next-gen version of the game.
I'm not the poster but I have an idea why. Performance. I don't think 4.0 is worth the performance downgrade when in all it only adds a bunch of mods you can find listed here. I really appreciate the guide as I also went back to 1.32 for the ultimate PC experience.
Don't really wanna discuss or share my opinions on this here. The Guide is here for people who want to revert back to 1.32 or never upgraded and I'll leave it at that.
