    Any new update for the 4.4 version? This mod is not working on the latest version, won't run the game if this mod is installed.

      The mod has stopped working after the 4.04 update.
      The conflict is probably caused by the options they added to the radial menu.

    Thanks, that's a must-have! But is it possible to revert horse and boat controls back to vanilla? (I'm just really used to them)

    Editing to not double post: OP could you please add hold R2+R3(leftStick button) to toggle campfire for friendly meditation since R3 activate meditation? I tried ghetto modding by adding: IK_Pad_RightThumb=(Action=ModifierToggleSpawnCampFire) in input setting but of course it didn't work sheesh XD
    Edit2: Nevermind I managed to put it in hold radialmenu (L1)+ R3, it was easier to figure than hold R2+R3



    Resolved: I play on PC using a ps5 dual sense perfectly compatible with the game. I took the mod mostly for the map shortcut, but it sadly doesnt work. Most other shortcut seems to work (not sure though) but since I'm in Velen I have no use for them. Not saying they won't be useful later but, but I for example have seen 4 different monsters so far so a bestiary shortcut is not very useful now. So just sharing to future users that with a dualsense there is no map shortcut. Sad!

    PS: Oh and the instant sign shortcut are not like vanilla next gen game

      I have not a ps5 dual sense so I can´t test it for myself. The mod changes how the inputs works regardless of which controller you use, because I changed that behavior natively. So at first it sounds like a bad installation... did you used script merger and copied my input.settings file?

      The only thing I can recommend to you is try to reinstall again following the steps one by one, or try using another controller to check if the problem it's from your installation or the ps5 controller. Let us know.

      PS: The instant sign shortcut remain untouch from vanilla next gen. The only thing I've changed was the position of Aard for Axii and viceversa, as I posted in description. If you don't like it, you have a post below where I explain how to modify it by yourself.

      Actually I didnt use any script merger (not even sure where to find it that) because I figured its to merge differents mods right? this is my only mod. I'll look for that. And yeah by saying not like vanilla I meant Aard and Axii are swapped . I'll look for your post to try and swap back if I can make the map shortcut work I'm reinstalling right now. Ty for your reactivity

      I have a dualsense and it's what I've been using, had to do some manual tweaking to the settings file.

      Basically the dualsense registers as a PS4 controller, so any of the shortcuts added by the mod for start and select are not used by a PS4 controller or the dualsense.

      In order to fix this, everywhere where one of the shortcuts for the Xbox controller existed, I added a line refering to the PS4 controller.

      For example, whereever there is

      IK_Pad_Start=(Action=ModifierPanelMap)

      I added below

      IK_PS4_TOUCH_PRESS=(Action=ModifierPanelMap)

      so in this case, using the R2 button and pressing the touchbar results in the map. You can customize it as you see fit if you'd rather use the start button

      With an Xbox controller the start button opens the inventory menu while select opens the pause menu, since with the dualsense the Touchbar opens the inventory type menu and Start opens the pause menu, I would add IK_PS4_TOUCH_PRESS for all the isntances of IK_Pad_Start and IK_PS4_OPTIONS for all the instances of IK_Pad_Back_Select

      Man your help was invaluable. I had no idea of how to input any change but with your help I was actually able to customize it  in a way I liked more, put horse commands back into vanilla with some twists of my own. The only thing I couldnt do is to put anything into the Share button.  Either it's not named SHARE in game or it's just not configurable in witcher. Thanks again and thanks OP for the great mod.     It is very inconvenient to find the difference from the vanilla code.

      I am aware of that. First of all I am not a code programmer. This mod was done years ago when my knowledge was even less than now, and it was done just for my personal use at the beginning until I decided to share it.

      I currently don't have time to work on it as years before, so I managed to update to next gen and that's it. I appreciate your advice and I will do it on future mods of course.

    Hi Aquileon! I've been using your mod since GOTY. I did it along side Friendly Hud, and if I'm correct, there was a walk around to make them work together. I'm using Friendly Hud Next Gen, and I can't make them work together. Any help would be really appreciated! I really miss your mod!

      Hey! Sorry mate, I am not a Friendly HUD user and as I can see it changes too many scripts.
      I currently don't have time to work on a patch or something but I remember a sticky post on my old mod version with people solving that by manually choosing the right lines on script merger. Maybe you could check it out and find your solution.
