senkronizasyondan bashetmişsiniz ama hem "Geliştirilmiş Griffin Zırhı" var hem de "Griffin Gümüş Kılıcı - Geliştirilmiş" var. Karar verin " X Griffin Zırhı" mı yoksa "Griffin Zırhı - X" mi?
I will most likely never use this mod but I still downloaded it, so I can endorse the mod. Huge Respect and Kudos to everyone who worked on this mod. Great dedication!! Helal olsun!!!
As a Turkish person this unofficial Patch is more ''official'' than official Turkish language. I mean in official Turkish language they did try to translate some terms which don't have Turkish terms meaning. For example: There's no mean for Witcher word exactly in Turkish but they replace it with Efsunger which is not reflecting the mean of this words... so in short in 'official' Turkish language missing quality in every aspect...
This is practically a labor of love, we've poured our hearts into this project. Official translation is also very good, but lacks in polish and attention to detail. Some dialogs are mistranslated due to the lack of sufficient in-game quality control. Game's way of using English language is not helping either, many times Geralt refers to himself while not using any defining pronouns such as "I". Such situations are not handled well in official translation as they had no way of seeing their translations in game (it is totally understandable). We had the time, dedication and determination to test a wide array of dialogue options in-game and made sure everything is translated accordingly, not only in terms of meaning but also in terms of "phrasing". A villager speaking like how a villager speaks, a noble speaking like how a noble speaks etc. We've also made sure there's a "coherency" between dialogues. This kind of polish simply lacks in official translation due to most likely insufficient in-game testing.
There are also a lot of "word plays" in the game, for example, wordplay about GOG (Gottfried's Omni-opening Grimoire). We cared all about such details, and made sure they're not lost in translation. We've made actiev inquiries about such "references" so that we can transfer their meanings to our language with our best efforts. English: "Find the Gottfried's Omni-opening Grimoire" Unofficial; "Gottfried'in Objektif Gunlugu'nu bul" (so, GOG) Official ; ""Gottfried'in Cok Yonlu Acilis Kitabi'ni bul" (so, GCYAK, which has... no meaning)
Wordplays between Yennefer and Geralt is also, to put it mildly, not caren for in official translations (the ones where both talk to each using expressions based on wolves in the Freya's Garden and birds in Blood and Wine ending). We've given extreme time and dedication to adapt such wordplays to our own language, whereas we couldn't see a similar attention or care in official translation.
Then there are term translations, for example, "Trial of the Grasses" have 3 different term translations in the official one, whereas it has only one and consistent term translation in the unofficial one. These kind of inconsistent term translations are almost non existent in our translation, whereas we were able to find plenty of them in the official one. The list goes on but these are practically the main points about the differences.
By the way, we owe you a lot for your changelog in Github about the nextgen update. Thanks to your work, we were able to easily determine changed and newly added strings. So once again, thank you!
The official translators obviously haven't played the game, they just took the text file and translated it soullessly. But the volunteer translation is not like that, it is much better. The mistranslation is close to zero. It is clear that the translators is a true Witcher fan.
Also, as @AKBLT said above, official pack translated some special names in their own way. They even translated Roach. These are bad things. The volunteer translation adds great depth to the game. New experience.
Note: This volunteer translation is not new, it was first published in 2015.
Thanks for for the most detail apart. This is great to see how much determine you were for this project. I plan to do similar one for th English language. I'm glad the w2strings changelog help you. Let me say to you: Tebrikler! hak edilmis! (nexus bugged for the "s", sorry)
