Thank you!!! I always thought the hood was so ugly. Vortex installation wouldn't work for me, had to download manually.

its cus the folders are not in the right order.
after installing, use "open in file manager" on the mod, and move the "modGMCatHoodAlwaysDown" backwards

It's not needed if you use my other mod.

I made it so the hood is always down for the Grandmaster set when using the swapToCat or swapToCatGM versions of it.

Does this work using vortex?  Doing it that way seems to install correctly and add the appropriate lines to the mod.settings file, but I am still seeing the hood.

Though I doubt this part, could it be not retroactive if I already crafted the chest armor?

    Thanks

When you craft it does not matter, so it's likely either due to the vortex installation or a conflict with another mod.

Also, check the closed bug on here as well, someone else found a quick fix for the vortex install issue that might be what you need.

This is great! A shame there's no mod that adds the fur collar to gm design...

Once you extract the archive from here, you should be placing the modGMCatHoodAlwaysDown folder into Mods folder of your Witcher 3 installation.

Perfect, does exactly what it says it does. No more need for accessories to pull the hood down. Looks great this way so thanks for the mod!
