Involved Alchemy is currently in alpha version 2.0a. The "final" mod version 2.0+ will contain more changes. Please keep in mind that the release of the final version will most likely take quite a long time. Until then, updates will be sporadic.
A full list of changes compared to the original Primer Alchemy is given on the description page and will be updated as development progresses. In its current state, the mod may contain both errors from the Primer Alchemy and new ones. If you encounter issues/bugs/inaccuracies, you can report them and they will be added to TODO list. Suggestions are also welcome. Emerging compatibility issues between Involved Alchemy and other mods will most likely be the last to be resolved. Currently, the mod only has English localization. If you have a question about mod functionality, be sure to read the description of Primer Alchemy first.
List of changes planned for implementation.

Disabling "passivity" for modded skills. 3. Various local changes related to the interface and alchemy menu. 4. Minor adjustments to alchemical item recipes. 5. In some form, there will be an integrated solution to the problem that rare mutagens for decoctions may run out.

Thanks to SiccW33d as the first author of Involved Alchemy opportunity to work with the mod and access to its page.Currently there are no plans to work on old mod versions 1.2.3./1.2.4, so his posts related to these versions were unstick. All old files on the "files" page are also outdated and are not compatible with the current game version or Involved Alchemy ver. 2.0+.

Error [mod000_involvedalchemy]game\gui\popups\itemselectionpopup.ws(125): Could not find function 'OnIngredientSelected' Error [mod000_involvedalchemy]game\gui\popups\itemselectionpopup.ws(202): Could not find function 'OnIngredientSelected'
'OnIngredientSelected' function is located in script (AlchemyMenu.ws), did you merge (AlchemyMenu.ws) with another mod or do have another mod that contains (AlchemyMenu.ws)?
I didn't merge alchemyMenu.ws but there's other mod that using that file like modSortEverything, modCustomLocalizationFix & modNextGenScripts. Before this I can run the game just fine with other's mod using that file too.
EDIT: Solve it by deleting said file from modSortEverything folder.
Hi there. I'm curious as to how this version is any different from Primer exactly. I read both mod descriptions and it seems like this is almost identical to that mod. What exactly is removed here to make it more "lightweight"? Thank you.
Involved Alchemy doesn't do any changes to Decoction, Signs or Mutagens or Alchemy Skills other than those that are necessary such as Acquired Tolerance and some recipes have been altered/added. skyliner390 did however make a new Primer alternative mod simply called Alchemy, if you would like to try that one out, while I have not tested it personally, so I really have no clue how it differs from Primer or this mod as I have been absent from modding for a while, and I'm just catching up, hope this helps.
You can install the mod to try it out, there should be no big problems with version 4.02. However, we are still in the process of work and, in particular, have not updated the scripts to the last version of the game.
