I'm faced with one problem: if I choose Triss and try to enter a save, the game will crash. If I choose A in the start menu, and choose Triss when I already enter the save, will the mod still work?
I'm trying to get a full grasp on how this mod actually works, particularly when it comes to romancing both Triss and Yennefer. Is there a specific order you're expected to follow—romancing Triss first, then Yen (or the other way around)—for the mod to recognize and preserve both relationships properly? From some of the comments, it sounds like one of them may act as if the romance never occurred, which seems a bit counterintuitive if the mod's goal is to support dual romance paths. I'm also wondering how this mod plays with other romance-enhancing mods like Extended Romance Conversation mods. If you're using those alongside this one, does it create conflicts or inconsistencies in how the characters behave post-romance? On top of that, how well does this integrate with Corvo Bianco Extended? If both romances are successfully maintained, will both Triss and Yen come to live with you at Corvo Bianco in the epilogue, or is it limited to just one companion showing up? Lastly, is the behavior in this mod hard-coded as-is, or is there room for adjustment? I'm curious whether there's potential for future updates that allow for better multi-romance outcomes, where both characters acknowledge the relationship without one defaulting to the “non-romanced” state. On a related note, does this mod override or skip the “It Takes Three to Tango” mission altogether? Or does that quest still trigger and play out normally, with its original consequences? If so, what happens afterward are the Consequences Altered in anyway? Does this mod adjust the fallout from that quest to allow a continued relationship with both women, or does it leave things as in vanilla? Say only One will come to Live with you at the end? From a technical perspective, is the behavior here hardcoded, or could it be further expanded? Could modders potentially build on this to create a more stable polyamorous resolution, or does the Witcher 3 engine limit that due to how romance flags are structured? Would love to hear from anyone who’s experimented with this setup—or from the mod author—about how flexible and compatible it really is.
1. Romance order doesn't matter. Whoever first is OK. 2. The threesome scene always triggers. After that, the one you chose will be your final lover. 3. Can't have both of them stayed with you. The game didn't create an outcome for that. So if both come to CB, their schedule will conflict with each other. Unless the quest is completely redesigned, but still, there won't be necessary dialogue scenes, voice lines for it. 4. The mod is compatible with mods you mentioned.
Thanks for the clarification — that really helps! I have one small follow-up: when you mention “the one you chose will be your final lover”, do you mean the first one you initiated a romance with? Or does the choice happen after the threesome quest, where you can decide who to stay with based on your dialogue or quest choices? Thanks again for this mod — even within the game’s limitations, it opens up a much more flexible and interesting experience. Would love to see how far this can be expanded in the future if more tools or systems become available.
heyy! I am having these script compiling errors (Error [modrealcheatingyenandtriss]local\manage_cheatingyenandtrissfact.ws(1): Unexpected '@' Error [modrealcheatingyenandtriss]local\manage_cheatingyenandtrissfact.ws(11): Unexpected '@') this is the only mod I have installed and when I remove the mods folder from the main game directory, the game starts just fine. also i used file merger too its showing no conflict. plz help. my game version is 4.04
Are you Using Next gen 4.04 or Old Gen Coz you only need one. This is working fine For me i have had No Conflicts. Are you Placing the Files in your Mods folder or ?, Right Now im personally trying to figure out What this Mod Actually does.
isn't every version above 4.0 next gen? first I installed the files directly to game folder, it gave me the same issue. then i removed the mods and used vortex. still the same problem
I checked and noticed that build 14504303 (hotfix of build 14438592 that changed a bit in terms of mods) of version 4.04 is compatible with this mod. There are no compilation errors like: Error [modrealcheatingyenandtriss]local\manage_cheatingyenandtrissfact.ws(1): Unexpected '@' So this is the version you need to update the game to (via Steam/Gog) in order for this mod to work
And how this mod interacts before the final battle on Undvik, after reading below, I realized that it does not remove the "Tango Threesome" mission. My question is, will there be any tent interaction with Triss or Jennifer after the threesome?
So this mod allows me to play the Yen and Triss story in my first playthrough? Can I install it right after I met Triss for the first time? I have only 10 other mods installed via Vortex, mostly visuals, but I see that your mod allows for 4 different outcomes A, B, C and D. I don't find an option to chose between them. Do I need another mod for this? If I installed your mod, is D per default, because this is what you recommend or is it A, which is vanilla?
What if after installing this mod, and choosing variant D (choices), Geralt confesses his love to Yen and Triss? How will the mod work then, and which of them will be with Geralt in the end in Corvo Bianco? I would appreciate a quick answer.
Hello! I have a problem, finding a way to romance both characters ( Yen / Triss ) in my gameplay I chose only Yen, and I refused Triss, and the problem is that in the mission Final Preparation - Meet Yennefer and the Lodge of Sorceresses at Dandelion's inn, more precisely when Geralt and Ciri go out the door from the conversation with Philippa Eilhart, Yennefer should appear, but only a cutscene with the wall appears as if she should have been there and then it goes to the next mission and the mission It Takes Three to Tango does not appear, (I don't know how well I explained it, I hope it helps you), why does it do that and will it cause the relationship with Yen? and I want to mention that in the mode settings I also set it to Yen.
