The npc script changes the dlcs xp and killing enemies xp. Here's a description from the mod Always Full Exp - Reforged about what this script does.

Everyone knows the great mod called Always Full Exp. But it isn't covering all aspects of the game.
For example, it doesn't maximizes exp from DLC quests. It makes it fixed 66% of the total possible reward. It happened so, because the full reward in DLCs isnt 100% but 150% of the scripted value.
The second problem i had taken care of is stable 2 xp for virtually every mob in the game, especially if you use Always Full Exp. I had also removed difficulty setting penalties (up to 33% of the total value). Now if you seriously outlevel killed enemy, you will still be treated as if you had the same level.
It looks like a great alternative th the "Always Full Exp" mod, as it have made my Geralt level waaay too quickly, and the vanilla system leaves you scrap for every bit of exp to even be able to wear the master crafted armour against Eredin. Big thanks, I feel that the 33% version is the golden one.

Here the changelog for help:
Scripts 4.02 vs 4.03
I can offer my assistance to update this mod and share to you in Direct Message (No DP %, just my name in the description).
out of curiosity, could you let me know why you also edited the npc script file?
Wasn't just editing the value in r4Game from "0.05f" to "0.5f" enough to achieve what you intend to do with this mod?
Asking, because the other "fullexp" mods don't edit that file.
