Thanks a lot for the mod and the instructions. I installed it without a mod manager. It really doesn't matter, I'm just asking, but I'm level 100 and this mod only appears to scale items up to level 97? Most items scale to 100, but the gear I want to use (Grandmaster Ursine set) does not appear to it seems to be the only one that doesn't scale all the way.
Just for curiosity sake. Level 97 is honestly good enough for me. I was so sick of having my grandmaster Ursine armour be outmatched by random garbage Velen Longswords that you find everywhere.
For some reason Relic gear gets downscaled but witcher gear doesn't, I tried changing every possible option but still won't work on witcher gear . Maybe it's just me who has this problem, in any case, any help would be appreciated
Edit: apparently nothing else get downscaled, not even Relics, but for some weird reason Aerondight and Hen Gaidth swords do. Those 2 are the only items that I could find so far that get downscaled
This mod used to work fine for me, but now I'm really struggling. Nothing I do makes the menu appear. I have installed via vortex and manual, both times I made sure to add the .xml to the right directory, and edit the dx11 ini file. I also tried completely removing the mod, and reinstalling from scratch. I'm pretty stumped tbh. I'm pretty experienced at modding but even going back and reading the directions carefully, I can not figure out what the problem is.
Edit: I got it working, I made a rookie mistake that always get me lol. The archived file had an extra layer of directories so when I tried to add the mod via Vortex, all the files were in the wrong place. I'm guessing when I tried to add it manually I must have either made the same mistake, or the mod folder being managed by Vortex was messing up my manual install.
I imagine most people who hadn't figured it out before have figured it out now.
Copy the line in both dx lists, dx11 and 12, because it certainly doesn't hurt and doesn't require you to think about anything other than changing dx if you ever wanted to.
Open the game with the mod installed, change the values you want in mod menu, load a game and save it. Completely close the game and open it again, load that save and voila, instant results.

I have followed all the installation instruction but when I press to select the item scaling option in the mod menu nothing happens - strange!
