Hi, first of all truly a great work with your reshade. When i open witcher via steam launcher, the reshade isn't enabled. But when i open witcher through Witcher 3 > bin > x64 launcher, then reshade is enabled. Does it have to be like that or i did something wrong?
There are two Witcher exe. One for dx11 and one for dx12. If you install reshade with a different Witcher exe, the preset will not appear. Make sure you use the same dx version for the game and reshade.
Hi. I haven't tested this with the current version. However, it shouldn't be a problem as long as all available effects have been activated during ReShade installation.
Did someone have a good cloak mod for complete my cavill mod collection because i try "hood" "auto hide weapons" and "accesory slots mod" but i think it's because i have friendy hud and modular eyes. I can't install the cloak mod in a good way because the last time i try script merger ask me to overwrite some files and modular eyes and friendly hud stop working and it also broke my game lul. i had to cleanup all my mods and game and go for full re-install i don't know if this clear taht's not my native language btw this mod is even better with his final version you created a masterpiece that's the first reshade with a real differences on game and no perf kill, be proud of you as i am. gg
Hey Amrra, thanks for your work! Just 2 quick questions.
1) Do we need to install all the reshade effects as well? I usually download all the shaders but only download the default pre-selected effects? 2) The only shaders active in your preset Ambient Lighting, are Tonemap and Fake HDR, is that correct? I guess not, so I'll probably need to download all the effects too. Lol
Hello Gamer1986. Thanks for your comment. I suggest to install all availible shaders. So, you can easy swap between different presets and you will always have the needed shaders. For my presets you will need more shaders than "Tonemap" and "Fake HDR". In the comments there is a thread, you can see a picture of the needed shaders.
Hi and thanks for the amazingly quick and helpful reply! Well, I believe you're talking about the effect packages (NOT the shaders) as in my picture, right? Cause the shaders need the effects to work properly. My mistake was that I downloaded all the shaders (they're pre-selected), but only the 2 pre-selected effects (re-check my pic). So. maybe you'd like to make that a bit clearer in your installation description? Because many reshade presets, don't really need all the effects (that's why I got confused).
Long story short, I got all the effects as well and Oh My God, I think your preset is the best I have ever seen in my gaming life! Using the ambient light one! You got yourself a huge, very much deserved endorsement!
EDIT: https://i.postimg.cc/tJRHFjj0/Untitled.png NOT using RT, just Ultra+ settings and it's perfect!
Your problem can't have anything to do with my preset because it's just a preset for reshade. Reshade may not be installed correctly, or you may be using an incompatible version of Reshade. I suggest uninstalling Reshade and then reinstalling version 5.5.2 with all shaders available
HOLY s#*!!!! The Final Version of the "Ambient Light" preset is absoluty amazing. Together with the next gen update, the "Darker Nights" Mod, and all of the other NETFLIX Mods, the game looks better than ever. Wonderful!!!
The Ambient Light version is my favorite! Because it comes closest to the colours and lighting for the first Netflix season, in my opinion. Thank you again, for this great reshade. THIS IS A MUST HAVE guys.
P.S. Very, very good job with the Tousaint too. I have no longer burning eyes, when i play the "Blood and Wine" DLC. :)

And yes, in some lighting conditions the Ambient Light looks great. :)
