Hi. First of all incredible work with your reshade, but my reshade seems a little more different than yours on those pictures. I'm using DX11, and i also had old film effect also enabled but i disabled it. My game looks more saturated and not exactly as natural colors. If you might have any idea why this is, please let me know.
Here's a fix I found to remove the 1920's style film effect:
Not sure why there's two Technicolor.fx options listed, but disabling the 2nd one seems to work for me. I'm running the latest ReShade 5.8.0 myself, with all add-ons installed.
Thank you for the efford, but sadly i also have to report i got a flickering 1920s style image.
I installed the 5.5.2 with every effect, selected dx10/11/12, copied your preset exactly where u mentioned and run the game on dx12. Chipset as Graphicdrivers and Mainboard firmware up2date.
No idea what causes it - maybe u had some kind of custom reshade fx which isnt part of the normal installation?
peculiar shader effects Do you have an idea why this might be happening? It's like a retro 1920s movie tape effect. I did everything like you said, 5.5.2 reshade, every plugin. When I turn off Technicolour it stops, but then of course I don't have technicolour.
My game looks nothing like the images above in fact my game looks like flickering static, I installed the new Reshade 5.5.2 to x64_dx12 .exe and made sure I selected every shader pack, then I placed your .ini in that same x64_dx12 folder but my game is a bright blurry flickering static. I use an RTX 3080 OLED HDR is there something I'm doing wrong?
hey sorry I got it to work somehow and it looks great but still not great for HDR but that's another issue that's unrelated to this anyhow sorry for the confusion meant no ill will.
No worries on that, mostly trying to figure out issues from a simple ini file.
As for HDR, I am still playing through Witcher 3 and I may try to setup an HDR version eventually as I have a 144hz 4k HDR screen, just not sure yet on how to make that work properly, had issues originally and decided to turn off HDR for this title.

Are you running the game in Dx12 mode?
Are you sure you installed 5.5.2 with full addon support properly?
Are your video drivers up to date?
There are many variables as to why this may not be working right.

Why does it look like this for me?
DX12, 5.5.2 Full addon support, latest Video drivers. RTX on. No lighting mods installed

If that does not work then there is something else going wrong on your end, many in Discord are using it without issue.
