I really like the idea of the immersive version. Sometimes we are tired of those unresonable game features, but simply modding the game would make us feel guilty. This immersive version of mod provides us with a way to change the unresonable game features in game, instead of simply remove them.
Agreed! That's exactly why I made this mod (and several others). I like to have some rationale and logic behind it (like gameplay unlocks by completing certain things) rather than just using a cheat mod.
Does this work with the 4.01 update? (Not the hotfix, the update) I haven't updated the game yet, as I'm waiting for my entire mod list to be updated (The ones that need to be) first
First of all, this mod does not have posts disabled on the mod page and is from a mod author with great reputation. I think that is reason enough for me personally to trust this mod more.

I wasn't aware of the other one. I made this one for personal use when next-gen came out. I'll look at that other one and see if there are any differentiators.
I did not see that the user was banned when I posted my qustion. I agree that not enabling posts is a poor choice for a mod author. Feedback and transparency are both important. They were possibly banned for copying other works without permissions. Thank you to everyone who gave good thorough responses to my inquiry. I will switch to using this mod for no boat damage.
