Possibly the most important quality of life mod for TW3.  I can't begin to count how many times during previous playthroughs I grumbled about Roach auto-pathing off the road, or into obstacles.  This gives the player total control of Roach, as it should be.  No more veering into ditches, no more steering into trees while evading a wolf pack, no more aggravation.  Awesome mod.

Thanks for this it was getting annoying when you wanted to go one way and your horse wanted to go the other

This mod works great though combined with speed control mod.

Can there be a version of this mod whereby Roach will only ignore the roads in combat? Road following is fun in exploration mode and only gets annoying in combat.

Similarly, a version with an in-game toggle in the settings or even a hotkey would be nice, but probably much harder to implement. Scripting combat-only contexts should be much easier to create and upload as an alterative to this unconditional disabling of the road guidance mechanic.

Why? I don't know if you know this but horses are actually pretty smart animals and prefer to run on roads as opposed to uneven terrain
    It's a pretty accurate mechanic

I actually don't use the mod myself but made it by request. I can imagine though why someone would just prefer to control it manually, so now they can.

This is a whole lot better than jerky horse movement though.

Anyways, thanks for the mod! I've been looking for something like this for a while. Any chance you are willing to make it for patch 1.32? Got 2 separate Witcher 3 folders so I can play both Next Gen and older version with all my favorite mods.

Sorry man, maintaining mods is a lot of work. Doing multiple versions is too much. Mods are being converted rapidly. What important ones are you still missing?
