Conversation overheard at the Temple of Freya on Hindarsfjall: The Priestess tells Kurisu she's too "week" to travel. https://i.imgur.com/zh6LNUJ.jpeg
One other question... I've never noticed before but it seems there are lot of subtitles where there is a colon preceding the line to indicate speaker, but the speaker's name is absent.
For example, instead of: Geralt of Rivia: We should wait. Yennefer of Vengerberg: We'll do no such thing.
We might see: : We should wait. : We'll do no such thing.
Sometimes one speaker is named and the other isn't. Sometimes it's just Geralt talking to himself so we wouldn't even need a speaker named, but the colon is still there anyway. Any idea what's going on?
Unfortunately this is a byproduct of how the engine uses the Alternate Display Name. Names From The Path uses this to change the names but it's like the engine needs a second to find the reference. You'll see it do that the first time after the game loads, but after that (once it's found it), it works. Unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done to fix it since it's in the engine. It's not a problem with NftP per se, just in how the mod uses the pre-existing infrastructure.
About halfway through the game now. Text is basically flawless so far. I spotted a rogue "it's" instead of "its" somewhere but I'll be damned if I can find the screenshot now.
Hi! If you're still updating this mod, I found another misspelling:
When you're approached by the nilfgaardian soldier at the army camp who is the lover of Lena, the sick woman from White Orchard you can give the swallow potion, he says "transfered" instead of "transferred" when talking about bringing Lena with him. It seems like he says this regardless of the path you choose in the dialogue tree with him.
Thanks. I'm actually updating GotP now and hope to have a new version to release in the next few days. I'll add this to it.
Changed from: 1047852|00000000||Listen, Lena… she has not fully recovered. I took her with me when I was transfered, thought she might get better. But no - she says nothing, recognizes no one, sleeps most of the day.

I always appreciate these types of mods - having the text in good shape gives the game an extra layer of polish.
Would you like reports of any lingering typos? I've only spotted one so far but I'm barely into my playthrough. I can report back with a list once I'm done (if I even find any more).
Good catch - thanks. I've added this to the file. I'll probably be releasing an update in the next couple of weeks. Sure, feel free to post anything you find and I'll include them.
too true, they have issues like this in w2 as well, ig nobody went through and read everything to see if there were basic spelling mistakes or not lol.
Found another minor thing. In Freya's Garden on Hindarsfiall, next to the large tree in front of the main hut, when Geralt examines the initial set of footprints next to a large root, the subtitles are misspelled as "Footprintslt". This occurs when the quest is taken during freeroam, so I'm unsure if the same line is present when looking for Skjall with Yennefer later.
Thanks, but I can't find the exact text as you referenced it. Did you happen to take a screenshot? That's the easiest way for me to find it and see the context for how it should be correctly spelled.
What I did find was this. It will be fixed in a future release of GotP:
Incorrect: 1075293|00000000||Footprintslk, light ones - someone was being stealthy.

During "Skellige's Most Wanted", one of the dialogue options for the peaceful approach is "I made a deal with Fugas". Except Fugas is the Crones' doorman on the Bald Mountain during the Sabbat, and the Sylvan in question is the Allgod.
The dialogue itself doesn't name him, but the option should be corrected to "I made a deal with Allgod" nonetheless.
Thanks for catching this. It's not surprising - CDPR used a lot of files behind the scenes labeled as Fugas instead of Allgod. Probably was something they changed late in development. I updated the string and it will be included in a future update.
I'd like to say something to the usless people who wrote the game texts... Thank you for taking care of the grammar part of the game, something the developers never bothered with for years.
There are more than 100,000 lines of text in the game, so the error rate is quite low. Combine that with the fact that they translated it into 17 different languages, and mistakes are bound to happen.

I did notice a missing "of" in the description of Superior Necrophage Oil:

Devil by the Well contract, Geralt mentions the rope is "taught," should read "taut." https://i.imgur.com/hZFwrDW.jpeg
