Better Icons 2022 - English Edition


This is a new version of my mod 'Better Icons 2020 v2.0 - English Edition' for v4.0+ (Next-Gen) game version.

Included versions for Ard Bombs users.

Included native compatibility with: Restored Content - Additional Potions and Additional Alchemy Next Gen Edition.

INSTALL:

- Install this mod MANUALLY.

- Choose one of the font versions available and drop the modBetterIcons2022xxxx file inside your "Mods" folder.

- If you want the three extra icons (Reinald's Philtre, Pops Mold Antidote and Sour Milk) install the optional file 'EXTRA ICONS 2022'.

- Run Script Merger if you have more mods installed.

- If you install the 'EXTRA ICONS 2022' optional file and have another mod installed that modifies the files:

gameplay\abilities\effects.xml
gameplay\abilities_plus\effects.xml
gameplay\abilities\effects_potions.xml
gameplay\abilities_plus\effects_potions.xml
gameplay\items\def_item_alchemy_petards.xml
gameplay\items_plus\def_item_alchemy_petards.xml
gameplay\items\def_item_alchemy_potion.xml
gameplay\items_plus\def_item_alchemy_potion.xml

...then you'll have to merge them. Be sure to choose:

INSTALL ARD BOMBS VERSIONS:

- You have to install the original Ard bombs mod (Next-Gen version) before installing my mod.

- Download and uncompress the Ard Bombs version file and drop 'mod__BetterIcons2022_English_XXXXX_ArdBombs' in "Mods" folder.

INSTALL TIERS VERSIONS:

- Choose one of the font versions available and drop the modBetterIcons2022TIERSxxxx file inside your "Mods" folder.

- TIERS versions has 'EXTRA ICONS 2022' file included, you don't need to download this optional file if you're using TIERS versions.

- If you have another mod installed that modifies the files:

INSTALL TIERS ARD BOMBS VERSIONS:

- You have to install the original Ard bombs mod (Next-Gen version) before installing my mod.

- Download and uncompress the TIERS Ard Bombs version file and drop 'mod_0BetterIcons2020TIERS_English_XXXXX_ArdBombs' inside "Mods" folder.

- TIERS Ard Bombs versions has 'EXTRA ICONS 2022' file included, you don't need to download this optional file if you're using TIERS Ard Bombs versions.

- If you have another mod installed that modifies the files:

OPTIONAL FILE 'NO QUALITY COLORS':

- ONLY FOR TIERS/TIERS ARD BOMBS MAIN MOD FILES VERSIONS.

- Install the optional file 'mod_00BetterIcons2022NoQualityColors' if you want to remove the quality colors in the icons background so you can better identify the items tiers with the glow effect from this mod. The colors are only removed in oils, bombs, potions and decoctions in the inventory menu, and in all items in the alchemy menu (if you want to remove the quality colors only in the inventory menu just remove the 'scripts' folder from the optional file).

- You have to merge both (main mod file and optional file) with script merger, just choose the text from 'mod_00BetterIcons2022NoQualityColors' and it will be fine.

- This file is suitable for TIERS and TIERS Ard Bombs main mod files.

UNINSTALL:

- Remove modBetterIcons2022xxxx file from your "Mods" folder.

- Run Script Merger.
