This reshade came about from my own attempts to balance out the design of Benis lighting mod, an edited version of Immersive Lighting that had a stronger stylised approach. The result worked very nicely and with further refinements the reshade is in a state where I think it worth sharing
This reshade was designed for Benis LM (Can be found here) however from testing I find it works well with any LM so use whichever one you prefer. However, the reshade was designed with Blitz FX in mind so I strongly recommend you use it for the full experience
Installation
Download the file and extract the bin folder to your Witcher 3 directory. You MUST NOT install reshade yourself using the installer as all the necessary files are packed and configured in the mod
Features
In general this is what you should see from the reshade:
- Slight desaturation of colours
- Stronger light diffusion
- Slight blurring which is offset by clarity and sharpening effects
- Cinematic Mode
Configuration
0 - Opens the reshade menu
Home - Toggles Cinematic Mode
Cinematic Mode
From an idea provided by a user on discord I have created a toggleable Cinematic Mode similar in goal to the one seen in Red Dead Redemption 2. When toggled black bars and a slight Depth of Field increase will be applied. This is evidently not designed for gameplay and is more there for screenshots if you want it. I highly advise you use a mod that can toggle the hud like Friendly HUD to make it easier for use
FPS Impact
This will be subjective owing to differences in pcs but I believe that the reshade will take at the very most 3fps
Blitz FX Configuration
From testing you are welcome to tweak Blitz FX however you wish or stick with the default preset
