    Hi I'm running version 1.31 of the game and I installed your mod as per your instructions including the qwerty input file. The mod seems to work well however my ability to swap between item slots 1,2 & 3,4 seems to have been lost as holding down on the up/down directional pads isn't working. I've tried installing the horse only version as well as the Everything version but still to no avail. Verifying game integrity in Steam and reverting back to vanilla (as this is the only mod I am using) allows me to swap item slots by holding up and down on the d-pad so I believe it is the mod. I'm using a DS4 controller with native Steam Beta support and I'd like to point out also that holding right/left on the d-pad to sheathe swords still works when your mod is installed if that info helps. I know I'm posting well after you've probably finished with this mod but I figured I'd give it a shot. Cheers!

      Same here. This mod prevents quick switching on the item slots using the Up/Down D-pad in DS4. :(

      Just tested and it seems to work fine still :) You do need to copy the input_qwerty.ini file over again though as any update will rewrite it. Let me know if there's any issues!

      Hey, try the new input_QWERTY file I just uploaded. It should fix the problems with 1.21, I noticed a lot of interact commands weren't working as they added a few new ones with the Blood and Wine DLC. Let me know if there's any problems :) Cheers.

    Thanks for the update. I was really bummed after installing 1.07 and realizing my controls were back to normal. None of the other mods here offer camera control while horsing!

      The update reset ALL of the settings. This included the modded controls in the .ini file. That's why it's not working. Reapply the mod, that will fix it.

      Hey! I've managed to get the changes working again after patch 1.07 You'll need to download the new Input_QWERTY files and place all 3 of them into "Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\r4game\legacy\base". So far I've only got it working for the full mod, so all control changes (boats, horses & movement) are there. If i get some free time or requests I'll upload versions for the separate changes but for now I hope it's solved for most!

    This is exactly what I want but it is not working for me at all. Settings are on Read Only. Tried several things, nothing changes in game, despite the input settings saying they should be.

      Damn that's strange, are you using a 360 controller? Or have you changed any control schemes (if there is any?) in-game? One small thing I can think of to try would be to delete input.settings and start the game, let it create a new one and then overwrite that one.

      Sorry to hear it's not working for you man, can't think what could be causing that!

    I'd like to use this but I'm already using "Instant Sign Casting for Controller xbox 360 Gamepad", no way to edit my input with your configs? I'd like only Swimming - Boats - Horses

    Absolutely fantastic additions man, gave ya a kudos, and will endorse when possible.

    Also if you can actually figure out a way to manually trigger combat mode, you will be my personal hero.

    Thanks for the tip on the map btw, I had literally no idea. Is there any other context sensitive keys you potentially know about?

      As for combat mode, I've been trying to figure out how toggle it to allow rolls, dodges, etc, but it seems to be a bit more complex than I thought lol. Hoping there is some way to trick the game into thinking there's an enemy nearby!

      If I can't manage that though, I was thinking about making it so L3 and R3 draw the steel and silver swords respectively. And making left or right on D-pad to call Roach. Do you think people would like that change? Or would you prefer if jump was remapped to L3? (I'm currently using that, and using R3 for horse call).

      As for the key tips hmm, pressing X when you have the sign menu up brings up meditation if you didn't already know!

      I have a feeling that type of change will only be capable once they release the RedKit unfortunately. It's entirely possible I'm wrong though, since I'm not even near experienced enough to do much with the game. Nor do I expect to be lol.

      Up to you man, me personally I don't really draw my sword manually that often. So the desire to have them altered isn't really a priority for me.

      You actually inspired me after reading your comment down below on the map tip thing, and I have been proceeding to try and alter my own files to my tastes. I have currently mapped jump to holding A for a little bit, since I wanted B to be (ha) sprint, to help alleviate that weird issue of tapping A too much to pick up an item, and you sprint a tiny bit lol. Might change it if I get annoyed. L3 isn't a bad option.

      Btw do you have any idea on how to get other hold shortcuts to work like how the PanelMap does? By that I mean, when you hold down start, after a tiny bit the map pops up automatically. I changed some keys to this for inventory, and the journal, yet I have to hold for a tiny bit, and then release. Otherwise it doesn't do anything. If that makes sense lol.

      Also, sounding like you might rename your mod to be a more all encompassing type control scheme mod.

      EDIT: I actually just changed it to your L3 and R3 lol. Btw you made sure to change explorationinteraction right? I'm assuming that's the ability to climb stuff when you jump.

      Yeah I expect you're right about the RedKit, although I can't wait for it! I'm sure we have so many awesome mods yet to come I don't think CDPR will make us wait too long either, in the next few months hopefully!
      I agree about the sprint thing btw, feels really awkward using A. I was going to remap it to R2 but I really didn't want to use anything else for casting signs lol. Trying to find a way to toggle sprint with L3 atm, would be perfect for me!

      As for the UI shortcuts I'm not certain how they work yet. But the one for the map uses (Action=PanelMap,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.5), I'd imagine to get ones like inventory working would be: IK_Pad_Back_Select=(Action=PanelInv,State=Duration,IdleTime=0.5)(for select key) But I haven't tried it myself yet, will try experimenting with it

      EDIT: Nice, yeah I did change the ExplorationInteraction also, first noticed it on boats lol kept wondering why it didn't work. Feels pretty good on L3 atm!

      I know what you mean about having to release before the map shows up, it doesn't look like there's a way around this yet Even with the exact same code as the map one it doesn't work the same for some reason.

      I'm hoping one of the first things people do with it is a blood mod lol. Definitely looking forward to what people might do.

      Personally pretty satisfied with B being sprint currently, since L3 is comfortable to hit even whilst sprinting. Btw it did seem to solve the issue of sometimes having difficulty of picking up items. Which is awesome.

      So at least it isn't something I did wrong . Unless we both did something wrong , since I did it the exact way you did it as well. Curious if you have the same issue as me currently, in that it seems to be a crapshoot if the inventory shortcut works. Sometimes it pops up perfectly fine, and other times it just does a quick flash of a black screen without any inventory popping up. Both seem relatively constant until I quit the game, and relaunch it, and then I can end up with either seemingly.

      Weirdly though, my shortcut I made for the Journal never has an issue, and pops up fine everytime.

      Thanks again for doing this mod man, made me want to edit my game. Which is going to be a rabbit hole I try to stay out of lol.

      Ah yeah same here, and we need to get some blood on the swords too! It looks so weird without any haha.

      Yep I'm also getting the same problem you described with the inventory shortcut, although I've sorted it now by using some of the shortcuts from this mod: www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/50/? You need to get a program called AntiMacro but it lets you map any keyboard key to your controller, and also has some other features like hold keys (perfect for our shortcuts! ). Only problem is he uses his own input.settings with it, so you might have to go over it and add your own tweaks again A bit tedious I know but think it's definitely worth it man, you can also save by holding down the Xbox button!

      And no problem at all! Cheers for the feedback mate This is the first game I really have an urge to make mods for lol.

      It's actually there, only noticed it like once. Seems a bit bugged looking-ish, and goes away quite fast, but it's there. So basically agree with you in that I want it to be noticeable, and stay a hell of a lot longer than it is currently. Same with the blood on the ground.

      Yeah saw that before, and slightly attempted to use that tool. However I'm not big with fucking around with input tools (such as Antimicro, PIE, etc.) if I don't absolutely have to (like with controller support on ME3). I find them confusing, and cumbersome to use personally. Rather just edit the game's controls lol.

      Yeah being able to quicksave on the guide button would be nice, but I'm not that fussed to press F5 lol. Now wish I could press F9, but seems CDPR forgot that key . Especially weird for a prominent PC developer, and an open world game where you would expect to quicksave/load frequently.
