Environment Calibration removed all color tinting and saturation as well as normalising brightness values (sometimes fog values..? It's the 4th value after Red Green Blue). It also lowered red values and boosted blue values of the sun color to make the sunlight more white than yellow. My mod does this as well during the day just not as much but with my mod I've left the moon color the same as vanilla.
Yes, it works perfect for the non RT version dx11, makes the lighting a lot more natural, and the flora much greener....did not test it on dx12. This is probably the only light related mod that works on Nex Gen so far.
It wasn't made with next gen in mind but it is reported to work with DX11 like RickThedope says. I personally don't use it in next-gen though. Either I've gone blind to it or CDPR has reduced the yellow tint themselves for next gen. It still seems quite saturated but the saturation doesn't seem to pick out the yellow sunlight as much. I've only played it briefly on my good desktop monitor though. I've been playing on Steam Deck mostly which doesn't have the fanciest screen so perhaps the saturation works well there..? Who knows! I don't plan to update the mod.
You can, yes. The only difference between v1.31 and v1.32 is an updated translation I believe. If a mod says it's for v1.32 it can be used in v1.31 and vice versa.
