This page is for the original (Witcher 3 Classic) mod. There is already a Next-Gen version and it is up to date for game version 4.03: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/7221
seeing as they didn't have any activity since 2019, never i assume. There's an other mod that was made and uploaded already that basically does the same thing.
They (CDPR) increased the depth at which you can jump in water, but it still says "you cannot do that" when trying to jump in deeper water. I think the depth they picked is somewhat realistic, as the jumping animation requires an initial squat which would kinda dunk Geralt in deeper water, and IRL we all know jumping doesn't really work well when most of your body is submerged. Then again, we aren't witchers. If you really want to jump at any standing depth, there's a new mod for it:
This mod seems to create a secondary problem, and suggests that the inability to jump in shallow water might have been deliberate. With this mod installed, I found myself unable to climb into a boat while in shallow water; the only way I succeeded was by jumping into it from nearby land. I suspect that the ability to jump while in shallow water was co-opted to make entering boats possible.

So always read before asking this question.
Also, there is the tag "Next Gen Incompatible" for a reason.
