you've completely missed the details about having 'Immersive lighting' installed or not... I've been trying out some shaders linked to that method/ then I install your mod and it's completely broken my files... BlitzFX is not compatable with Next-Gen, you also didn't mention this... come one man, I love the appeal of this mod but you miss a lot of install info and so I'm undo'ing the install and going for a reshader only...
I reloaded but DOF is by default enabled. I actually thought that this is an essential part of your mod. I did not tweak anything except disabling motion blur and lightshafts etc. etc. the ones in the instruction. And I also wonder why it says hotsamplinghelper.fx failed to compile above the reshade tool, maybe its the reason why it looks different?
Actually I kinda like this DOF thing. even its not intended but its way more smooth but blurred. I'll try to tweak it out and see if I can make it a bit clearer so it wont interfere with the dialogue options. Oh and by the way The recommended "Winter is Coming" mod breaks the texture of the game in kaer morhen in the very first scene where geralt trains ciri, the snowy part of the ground has some missing texture I can literally see the "grey" portion of the map simulation. Other than these, the mod looks cool and promising. I haven't ventured out white orchard so im gonna see what velen and other maps look like with this mod.
Thats weird, maybe i left that dof feature enabled by mistake before i upload it, it shouldnt be enabled by default. Also yes, that winter is coming mod have some bugs, even if it its only for skellige, there some textures which are shared on different maps, so for example theres some snow textures in Wizima and it looks like a bug. Sadly cant do anything with it, since its not my mod and i doubt anything can be done with it since its just shared/same texture.
That statement is objectively FALSE. There are lighting mods that fixes a lot of problems with vanilla lighting. The lighting in this game is anything but "precise".
Then don't bother with reshades and LMs and move on, nobody cares if you think that the vanilla lighting is superior to everything no matter what. Fact..
You gotta be a resented console player, vanilla lighting is objectively bad, it isn't "precise", it look rather bad and overly-colorful, LM can be a lot better or straight up fix a lot of issues vanilla lighting has. I do agree reshade can look quite bad or unbalanced depending on the location, but a LM alone can be amazing and not using that is just stupid if you're on PC.
Well I disagree with these statements, vanilla lighting looks good anywhere and always (you could say that the nights are overly bright it's unimmersive but why are talking about a game after all, the environments have to be game-friendly) but it does not have much personality, it's quite basic in other words, that's where the lighting mods and reshades come in handy Also you would be surprised with how many PC players stick to vanilla lighting, you don't have to be a console player to appreciate it
how can you be able to go outside and make this and CALL IT REALISTIC WTF IM GOING CRAZY HERE çu"çuçrà)çf"éà) VMFH IM GOING TO PUT MY ASS ON YOUR NOSE ON GUDMODS
