I think it's likely unclear instructions causing this so it's best to hash it out that way, and then update the description.
The mod works fine for me, thanks! But i want to raise one thing, in the last update the xml is nowhere to find, is it because the option ''allow spoiler'' is now always on?
Ah, I suppose I must've forgotten to upload that; thank you for bringing it to my attention. You should just be able to use the XML from the older download. Let me know if that works for you!
Im kind of new to modding, so idk if it's because i did something wrong in my modlist, but i did add the xml of the other folder and it didn't work, even Witcher 3 mod manager doesn't recognize it, it's written 0 under the menu section.

sitting here in 2022. just installed this mod, sadly, it does not do anything, except adding the menu item in options. book is nowhere to be seen. playing on NG+ and did not start the game with the mod installed. any help?
Any statistic that is stored in the scripting system will be displayed, which is not all achievements but those that have “progress meters” (e.g. Master Marksman and Humpty Dumpty)

Despite numerous attempts to make this work, i can't get the book to spawn. the folders are all lower case and they in the steam folder of the witcher 3. i'm at a loss why this isn't working. The files are all correctly there and even the script manager i have recognizes the mod.
The book adding is all managed by the dlc, make sure you only have one dlc folder in the root directory and that inside there is (among other folders) a dlcStatTrak folder.
Hello, this is also the case for me, I use script management software to install, and I have checked the mod and dlc folders, but my inventory still does not have this book.
That’s quite interesting, it was working on existing saves for me earlier. I might have forgotten to add ng+ support, however. I’ll take a look at this as soon as I can. Thanks for bringing it to my awareness!
This is a feature that should have been released when the game first launched. Hell, this should be a feature with all games no matter what platform. I'm going to use this.
Thanks! It seems that it may one of a few things: 1. You have differently cased dlc or mod folders (e.g. mods vs Mods or dlc vs DLC). Make sure the files are going to the right spot. 2. You might also be overlooking it since it has the exact same icon as the Gwent book (which I should probably change).
If neither of these fix it or you've already tried them please let me know.

edited to say it works on new games but it wont work on saves ive already started :/ also doesnt work on new game plus
