If you're having weird glitches with controls and/or the camera, do check all your mods. And all means all indeed, because in The Witcher 3 you can easily have conflicts between something seemingly unrelated like, for example, appearance changing and balance changing mods.
UPD: Since 0.9.2 there is an option to disable double/triple tap for Roach. Try it if you're having "random" galloping issue.

I don't think wghost81 is keen on updating Witcher 3 mods anymore because she does not like how CDPR handled incorporating mods into the next-gen update. As I recall, she was mad as a wolverine over it. That's why we don't really see any new stuff from her either. It is a real shame, because she is one of the best.
I asked Wasteland Ghost about this on Discord and she said she doesn't know if it will get updated because she is not the sole developer on the mod. Makes no real sense to me, but there we have it.
Is there a way to speed up the walking animation slightly? I tried experimenting with values in the locomotionDirectController file, but it makes not difference at all.

Other Thoughts [Friendly Controls] The horse controls you introduced are just not good, I'm sorry to tell you, but at least I said it, Sure its more immersive but it also makes everything with the horse slow, and janky. It almost feels like I'm playing with a controller on mouse and keyboard and that's just not how KB&M is supposed to be, its got to be fast and responsive.
On other notes the new update you introduced is fantastic, I'm glad it now has proper compatibility with SCAAR.
