I would like to note Geralt would have been killed at least twice if Roach didn't save him in W2, so it's not unimaginable that Geralt would give him a medallion in thanks to protect Roach from the unnatural, so for me due to W2 canon the wolf medallion doesn't break immersion.
This is an awesome idea I've always hated Roach's attire. Thank you
what are you talking about? with the help of a medallion, they cast witcher signs and sense magic. if Geralt gives Roche's medallion, he will lose all his power. witchers never give up their medallions.
The Signs definitely are not unique to witchers. Triss claims that, being a sorceress, by using the same gesture she could cast a more powerful version of the Aard Sign. The same way while training Ciri, someone who is not a witcher, the witchers tried to make her use the Aard Sign. Since she could not do it, they thought she didn't have any magical potential at all. This means that magical potential is all that's needed in order to use the Signs.
Because they are not trained to be master magicians, and nor would they be capable of doing so, everyone has their own limit. Also, the Medallions are not the source of their power, they just vibrate to alert the wearer of nearby magic or monster, nothing else. Check your fact, read some lore...
Yes the medallion allows them to be aware of magic, not because they can sense it, but because the medallion itself reacts to magic. The medallion has no bearing over signs though, no idea where you got that from.
In the book where Geralt loses his medallion, it is stated he now can't use signs until he gets a new one.
A normal person would never be given a medallion by a Witcher, unless under excetional circumstances, i.e., the situation with Letho's war trophy medallions being given to Ciri and Yen. Geralt would NEVER give a wolf medallion to Roche.
Ah, same here man, unimmersive with the Wolf Medallion... But looks super cool though! Good to see some Roche love, very little on here for him (though it pales in comparison to the neglect suffered by our poor Iorveth).

lmao then tell me why witchers are not masters of magic
